I took this picture of my niece Lila earlier this week while I was visiting my sister. Isn't she beautiful? Even though Quincey's just a few months older than her cousin she's so much bigger. I actually never get to hold my babies this little, they come out weighing 2 pounds more and with rolls! :)

ReplyDeleteMine were both chubbers as well. 9.3 and 11.6, and full heads of rock star hair. My little niece was only 5.3. I totally understand the feeling of holding babies that are smaller than your own. She is precious!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you...mine babies were 9 and 10 pounds when they were born...when I see a 6 or 7 pounder they look so fragile to me...they also look like a total miracle...and no matter the size, newborns are such a little peice of heaven on earth.
