Magpie giveaway

Recently we drove up the canyon, with my sister & her family. There's something about being up in the mountains that rejuvenates me.
While we were enjoying the scenery & taking pictures in the middle of dirt & dried grass was this lush patch of clovers. I made my sister lay down to take a picture. Just like I tried to make her eat a hot dog when we were little (she's a vegetarian) but that's another story. Back to the beautiful glistening green... it was so lively & reminded me that although we all have our different trials & face tribulation...dirt... at the same time we are blessed & have lucky clovers that we can rest our head on. Mine come in the form of 2 sweet faces.

    I feel blessed to experience the amazing gift of life. At 39 and a half weeks pregnant, I become more and more anxious to meet my sweet babygirl, and somewhat nostalgic that my first experience of carrying a child is nearing it's end.

    I feel lucky to live in Alaska and have our own community of friends. We only sold property to friends and family, so our little neighborhood is pretty tight-knit.

    I feel really lucky and blessed to have an understandable son and he is only two years old. I have been through many terrible things recently. When I feel sad, he cuddles me with his little hands and kisses my tears away. He is my angel and I'm glad that he chose me as his mother.

    I feel very blessed to have such an amazing daughter with a sweet spirit. She is truly a gift and is the best thing to have happened to me. Even when she's fussy, throws her tantrums or is sick with the flu and I am up at 330 am with her like I am this evening, I wouldn't have it any other way.

    my soul needs sunshine...and so I painted our family room a golden sunny yellow...I have been doing this in every home we move to (military so we move a lot)..and I am blessed every single time I walk into this room and feel happier. a small thing like being able to paint a room...but a blessing indeed. a small way to brighten my life...a smile when dealing with the "dirt" of life. :)

    I felt so blessed last night as we were taking a walk around our neighborhood just before the kids bedtime and my two girls were skipping, playing, giggling (not arguing) and my baby boy was as happy and peaceful as could be riding along in his stroller with his sippy cup full of warm milk. My husband and I were chatting about the great game of volleyball our oldest just got through playing, and all was right with the world!

    Lovely kit.

    I feel lucky, and especially blessed to be alive and able to have children.     I am thankful that my 11 year old son is ok. He took a nasty spill at school yesterday and hit his head *hard* on the concrete. SO happy no concussion. It was a sleepless night for me and dh just making sure he we doing ok. SO, SO happy he woke up this morning feeling good...and no concussion. Scary how things can change in an instant. Feeling so lucky and blessed that he is ok!

    Oh-this is an easy one! Although there are many things I could choose to say make me feel lucky or blessed, the 2 that stand out the most are my girls! God has truly blessed us with 2 healthy, beautiful, spunky gals! They make my life so much better--I honestly can't imagine life without them. They give ME a meaning-as a mother-as a friend!

    I don't really believe in luck but rather than everything in life is meant to be and happens for a purpose. As much as I complain all day about anything that comes across my day, and especially my boss & job, I forget that I am so blessed in so many ways, starting with my beautiful girls, husband, a home, and family that's there for me whenever. So today I am greatful for the technology that allows me to stay in touch with my family at home - 5000 miles apart; to brighten my parents days with pics of the girls in the matter of minutes, to stay in touch by e-mail thruout the day. For someone, that preverse the simple things in life, I couldn't live without this technology.

    I feel blessed that I still have both my mother and father in my life. They are both over 80. My mother looks and acts about 60, but my father is really starting to show his age. When we are together I see him as the man I remember from my childhood, but when I look at current photos I see how frail he is now. Every moment that I have with my parents is now joy that I hold in heart.

    I'm the luckiest mom in the world. My teenager loves to hang out with me and create and scrap even after a long day at school, two hours of volleyball practice and then two hours of dance three days a week. She still has time for her mom. I love as high as a TIGGER can bounce and back again! (She is a Winnie the Pooh freak)

    I feel so lucky and blessed to be a mommy. We struggled with infertility and waited a long time to finally be given the gift of being parents through adoption. Every time I hold my 'baby' (he's almost 3!) I feel so blessed and lucky that his birth parents picked me to be his mommy!

    twelve years ago we came too close to losing our son when he was only five years old. he was diagnosed with kawasaki disease and we came too close to losing him twice. so, we feel very blessed today.
