Some cool news in the Dear Lizzy product world is that you can purchase dies online for your Silhouette! Silhouette is an awesome die cutting machine where you can purchase single dies online or you can even draw your own shapes in Illustrator and cut them out on the spot. I had fun playing with a couple of the lace shapes from my Spring line on this page about my little one who definitely have perfected the pout.
Silhouette is having a fun blog hop today to kick off National Scrapbooking Day weekend where you can venture through a list of fabulous designers and be inspired by how they use the Silhouette. ReplyDeleteWhat a super sweet layout, LOVE the lacy dies, can't wait to see the new Dear Lizzy stuff you are working on. I bought most of the other stuff, I use the acrylic stamps for everything, they were great for my mother's day cards. Keep posting pages, it's always a joy to look at your creations and adorable little girls. Gives me ideas for my girl, who's not so little anymore :(
ReplyDeleteI was so thrilled that Dear Lizzy showed up at Silhouette. I fell in love with the line the first time I saw it. I just downloaded the doilies yesterday and haven't had time to use them. I'm so excited to see how they look on your page here. I cannot wait to use them now!!!!

ReplyDeleteTo all the folks who don't have a PC... Are your Macs laptops or desktops? If you just have the desktop, and can afford a laptop, I'd recommend getting a laptop. It makes the Silhouette that much more portable. I'm so addicted to getting online to see what's new, I've been guilting of downloading shapes on business trips.

I can't wait for more of your designs. Are you liking the sil, you haven't bloged about it before? There is a learning curve, but once you get it, you can't go back =)

ReplyDeleteTo your commenters that think they can't use a Silhouette with a Mac, they can! My Silhouette is connected to our Mac Pro downstairs. I use VMware Fusion (http://www.vmware.com/products/fusion/) to run Window on my Mac.
