She's Here!

(Daddy's version)

Christmas came in June this year when this sweet angel traded her wings in for 2 chubby legs and a styling do. Quincey Rose Kartchner made her grand entrance into the world Friday June 6 at 4:00pm on the nose! This little guppy weighed in at 8lbs 7oz, just 1 oz shy of her big sis! She was so excited to meet her mommy and daddy that she made her dramatic appearance posterior-face up ready to greet the world! Her poor forehead and nose weren't too thrilled about that.
Just to paint a picture of the experience:the hospital rooms there were like hotel suites, and you deliver in the same room. On one side of the room was Liz pushing her heart out and the other side she had a cheering section composed of 3 sisters, 2 sis in laws, 2 moms and a grandma...and yes, they were literally rooting her on. "One more push! One more push!" I wish I was kidding.

"When are we going to have the next one?" Liz asks somewhat sarcastically.
"Uhhh," I reply.
Liz was such a champ, she made it look E-Z! Love her.

Then walks in the little Weester with her new "Big Sis" tee on (thanks Auntie Camille) wondering what all the fuss was about. Everyone was pointing to Quincey saying "Look Avery! Baby Quincey!" She looked at everyone in the room for a split second each trying to locate her new BFF, and as she laid eyes on her for the first time in 2 years, she starting laughing...hysterically. After 42 kisses, we'll finally unstuck her.

Thanks to everyone for helping out watching Avery, bringing food, loving and supporting us! Thanks to our great doctor and nurses! Thanks to Liz for being an amazing mother! Thanks to a kind Heavenly Father for trusting us...again!
