I get goosebumps just thinking about how wonderful every little thing is if you pour your whole heart into it.

So this year, I did lots of research on medical schools in my area, and found one that was a good fit for me. I started in June 08, and in March 09, I will graduate with honors and be a Medical Assistant! I am so excited at what my future holds!

ReplyDeleteI love these sweatpants the athletic department issues at my college to sports atheletes. Every summer they sell off older pairs. Last summer at my reunion I stocked up and got 3 pair. They are so comforting and divine! I'm sure everyone has a fave pair of sweats!

ReplyDeleteI like to show others how much I love them by doing simple things for them - setting the alarm for dh, making lunch or getting a cold drink for dh when he's working, without him asking, loading the dishwasher for my mil after a meal, etc. etc.

I say "I Love You" with Tuesday presents! It's a fun little thing that dh and I do! The only rule is that the gifts cannot be given on holidays or on TUESDAYS! LOL! We call them "Tuesday Presents" and they are simply to let the other know of our love! It's fun! Sometimes it's a little thing like a trinket from the quarter machine at the grocery store and sometimes it's a big thing like a Wii Fit! It's our little tradition and we love it!

I really love treats of every kind - ginger cookies, chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes, you name it... Good thing I also love going to the gym! I must be hungry because all I can think of is foods that I love. :)

Although I also love silence, when the dishes are done, the kids are in bed and I can sit and relish the quiet that surrounds me usually getting lost in my thoughts and plans. I love polka dots! I love them on clothes, on paper, on shoes, and even food. I think they are fun and flirty and can be worn no matter what your age.

My husband and I say I love you whenever we get a chance. It's something we say to our son all the time as well. We NEVER say I love you too, it just seems like your saying back because someone has said it to you. In the 15 years my hubby and I have been a couple we have never said I love you too. My husband and I often try to catch each other off guard by saying "guess what?" and if the other person says "what?" they loose, if they say "I love you" they caught the other person trying to be sneaky. :-) It's a fun game.

Since my son was a little little baby I would be holding him in front of me him facing outward and I'd whisper in one ear "I love you" then move to the other ear and say "I love you" I'd do it about 5-10 times in a row. I would that all the time lots of times during the day (and still do) and now that he is 2.5 he comes up to me and does the same thing! It is sweet!

ReplyDeleteWhen I think of things that I love, right up there on my list along with my family & friends are my HYDRANGEA flowers. I have about 10 plants, in my front yard, in pots, in the backyard... I have art prints of hydrangeas throughout my house. When buying me a gift, my family knows that if it has a hydrangea on it, I will love it. My daughters could even say "hydrangea" before they could say many other words! I love love LOVE them. :O) and i would love to WIN this time too!

i love this right now- when its naptime for all the kiddos(assuming that only by God's mercy i can get them to nap at the same time!) and i can finally hear myself think, this is when i can watch a movie and actually hear what they are talking about!,when i can get on the computer and look at everything scrap..and i love that my booboo knows exactly what kinda chocolate i love and everytime he goes to the store he brings one back for me to put on my desk and munch while doing this right here!..and its king size of course!!:)

Besides the mentioned that we all love.... I would have to say I love, love my scrapbooks. I love scrapbooking summer, winter, spring and fall. Other than that, I love putting on comfy jeans with an oversized sweatshirt, drinking hot cocoa on the first snowfall of the year.

Hi Elizabeth! I would have to say I love and long for cloudy, stormy days. A great excuse to go nowhere and to just have fun scrapbooking, dancing in the living room with my kids, or just sitting and reading a great book.

When my husband holds my hand, he'll squeeze it three times which means I Love You. He can remember sitting in church when he was little and holding hands with his mother and she would do the same thing. It's terribly sweet and it makes you feel so wonderful. My sweet baby boy is 16 months and he loves it as well. I can't wait until he does it to my hand first.

ReplyDeleteI love the dirt road at our cabin that has an arch of trees all the way down it. I love it in the summer-filled with green leaves. I love it in the fall-cloaked with red and orange. I love it in the winter with fresh fallen snow. I love it in the spring with new buds on the branches. I love being the first one outside the morning after it snows. Everything is covered in a perfect, unspoiled white blanket of snow, and it's so quiet you swear that you're the only person alive. :-)

We woke up this morning to about 4" of this wonder that nature blessed us with. I'm like a kid in snow. After all, I was born february 1st and i am german. today is also my mom's birthday and i just found out that my cousin anja had her first baby boy - lucaz. how beautiful is that. a perfect day.

It's such a good feeling - I wish I could capture it so I could always remember and be motivated to exercise even when I don't feel like it. There is just a power in taking care of your body that makes you feel strong and good about yourself.

Oh the days. They are few and far between but how I love them.
