springy snacks

In case you didn't know, we are snackers... we love to eat All. Day. Long. :) So when I first saw the idea of using a muffin tin to fill with snacks for the day I knew that's just what we needed to keep this little squirrel happy.

Instead of a muffin tin the silicon cupcake cups worked perfect along with a cute Cram Cream tray. Yes, you will find me digging in too.

Another page using the Scarlet Lime kit that I showed a peek of last week but now you get to see the whole enchilada.
I love the new line from Sassafras called "vintage yummy" that's where you find the cute dear paper.
I missed Idol last night. Who did awesome? Kris was my favorite last week! Happy Wednesday!

  2. Being a serious snacker, I must say I love your idea. I have no little ones at home, but I can still treat myself, right? LOVE your creations with the Scarlet Lime kits. I have had a long time love affair with Christy's kits. So glad to see you there!

  3. That's such a great idea. I just asked my husband yesterday if he felt like we spend all day trying to figure out what to feed her! She's not quite big enough for snacks that way, but I'll definitely file it away for future use!

  5. Love your LO and snack ideas. On American Idol Danny, Anook, Matt and Adam (my favorite)did great. Adam was last and time was running short -- Simone was the only one able to comment and he just told Adam time was short so he was just going to "STAND UP" for Adam!! Can you believe that! Simone stood up and applauded Adam.

  6. Great idea! I'm going to have to do that for my little snasker too!

  7. Great snack idea, Liz! Such cute cups! Idol was great! I absolutely love Kris too! That crooked little mouth of his! Unfortunately the judges did not think his song choice was the best. He did kind of a rock song and they said his voice got lost in the music. :( Adam was amazing as usual. Danny was great too. Hope you can catch the results show tonight. I know I will be glued to the TV. :)

  8. We recorded AI last night and it ran long so we missed Adam!! He's my favorite. I went online and watched it. Everyone else was mediocre compared to him. AMAZING! You could probably watch it on YouTube today.

My oldest son (5) is a big snacker. He's hungry 5 minutes after eating any meal. He wants to eat all day. Maybe this would help. I'll have to set up a little snack tray of healthy things he can pick from whenever he wants. Thanks for the idea! :)

  9. Eye food too that way.

I loved Adam's performance. Sometimes I really like him, sometimes not. He's in his own category though when he does really well.

  10. What a cute idea for the snacks! My little man is a snacker too. Do you just set out the tray & let her graze as the days goes by, or do you put it away & take it out when she says she's hungry?

  11. Cute idea! I am going to have try that with my munchkin. Adam (although he isn't my favorite) and Danny were the most memorable for me. I don't know why but I think Lil Rounds is going home.

    Have a great Wednesday!

  12. Great idea. At least they are healthy snacks, so snack all you want. BTW, Avery looks like she is so tall in those pictures.

Last night our little Carson made his first joke ever. At two!! Jeff and I laughed so hard. It's so funny to see our sense of humor in him.

    They grow up so fast.

  19. Yep you are going to have to tell everyone where you got the super cute muffin cups! I would eat only healthy food if I had those cups to eat out of!! Just kidding...but I would love to know! That scrapbook page is super cute too!

I am putting this here because I don't know if you'll see it below but thank you so much for that video below. I love that man and his accent too! I am going to share that on our blog too if you don't mind. His message is amazing and it absolutely describes my need to scrapbook, sew, plant flowers, have kids, etc. Thank you so much! Don't you just love this gospel!?

  32. So will you leave the cut up fruit out all day (if she doesn't eat it all in the a.m.) ? I just had my third baby and I am desperately trying to find ways to make sure that my older 2 boys have the things they need (food & such) when they need it in case I am nursing. Thanks!!!

  37. Hiya... I found you through Scarlet Lime. Oh that place has been so good for me... as I found you here. I love your playlist too... I must apologize as I have duplicated some of your list, what wasn't already on mine anyway... it seems we share a love of feel good tunes.
So now... Where oh where did you get the muffin cups...? We have a house of snackers ourselves. Plus your snacks look doable... as I can never remember the basics of snacking.

Oh and it seems we are of the same faith... oh goody...

    Looking forward to more...

  38. I just found your site-and I love love love it!! I was reading back through and I thought I would suggest a good book to you (it's about vampires)...There are 3 in the series. They are a little darker than Twilight, they take a different angle on vampires. The first book is called "Blue Bloods"...I enjoyed them...they kept me entertained :0). I am still waiting to read #3...let me know what you think if you try them out :0)
