The last few days I've been finishing up some workshops for an event I will be teaching at. I will share more details of that soon but I will tell you that I get to use my passport. I guess Lola needs a passport too. ha. We had to get Avery a passport when she was 1 for our family vacation and it is pretty darn cute.
I hardly ever use red on my layouts but whenever I do I realize it's such a pretty color... especially paired with yellow.
My sister, Ashley & family in the page above, were home from Czech for Christmas and today they leave to another far away country. I wish I would have spent more time with them while they were here... I know they were busy getting everything ready for their next adventure. I'll miss them, again. But I am pretty spoiled with most of our family with in a 20 minute radius.
Sassafras: paper
Jenni Bowlin: Large Butterfly, Medium Butterflies, Circle Letters
Tim Holtz: Adage Ticket, Metal Circle Charm, Mini Paper Clips
What a breathtaking layout!! I wish my layouts came together as well as yours do!! Red is one of my fav colors! I wear it to work often. Your sister is lucky to travel the world and experience new adventures! Even better when she has her hubby and beautiful baby along. hugs from Conroe, TX
ReplyDeleteI hope your sister has an amazing time in her next adventure. Wow! Beautiful layout.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful layout - it's just so fresh and fun! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLove this layout with pops of red and yellow! So bright and cheery. I love reading your sisters blog, lets me live vicariously!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous layout. The colours are just popping!! Nice! :o)
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about red......Although I have been embracing it in my wardrobe. I'm pretty pale so I like to think it makes me look classic like Ann Hathaway. Still not brave enough to try red lipstick :) I will have to try using it more with scrapbooking as well!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the mix of red, yellow and hints of pink.
ReplyDeleteLove the color choices. Too cute. Are you going to do another online class? I would love it.
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite layout of all time!
ReplyDeleteYou managed to use a large accent in a non-overwhelming way. It's gorgeous!
I know where you are going, he he! And I am beyond excitement! And I will be there.
ReplyDeleteI love your work Elizabeth and am a big admirer from Swizerland.
All the best to you and your family!
Tamara

ReplyDeleteWhere are you going??? In Europe?? France would be great!! I'm impatient. Beautiful Layout. Love your scrap
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize your sister lived overseas. I'm sure it means a lot to her to have a supportive sister like you. I know our time in the States last year was crazy busy and we all wished for more time together.
ReplyDeleteWe had our littlest in Spain, so he had to have a passport in order for us to go home to Morocco. It's so funny to look at his passport now and realize how tiny he was!
Ooh la la! I like the colors and the butterfly alot! Amazing!
