Who says that moms don't have super powers?
I've definitely enhanced my one-handed super power since Lola has been born. Having multiple kids you have to learn how to balance breakfast on your head, pour milk and scramble eggs at the same time.
Using my finely tuned one-handed skill is how I finished this layout for a 2 peas class.
The fabulous Nichol Magouirk is teaching a free stamping class and I made this super quick layout to illustrate stamping a title on your pages.
Hidden journaling all about the blog post when she got into my makeup.

Super cute layout!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I finally pickup 52 More Scrapbooking Challenges. Thank you for showing me different ways to look at and scrap the world around me with photos I love.
I know what you're going through. I've even made Rice Krispy Treats with one hand, while holding a baby, which, if you've ever made them, you know is no easy feat even with two hands!! LOVE the layout. Nicholas (2) also got into my lipstick the other day!!
ReplyDeleteI totally feel like I have super powers (we have to as moms, right?) but I think you have SUPER DUPER powers! How do you get it all done so graciously????

ReplyDeleteWhat a great one handed layout!! Reminds me of when my now teenager got into a stick of butter when he was two and was calling it lipstick...took A LOT of shampoo and soap to get him clean, he was so greasy!!
ReplyDeleteI know you're plate is full, full, full. (I can't imagine how you do all you do!). But, I absolutely love your design aesthetic and the joy that is communicated through your designs, your life, your blog, how you dress, etc. I think you should venture into some fabric design. I would love to quilt, make purses, dresses, etc. with some dear lizzy cottons! I'm just saying... something to think about.
