Sunday afternoons, sigh, my favorite day of the week. Because I get to spend the whole day with my favorite people Collin and Avery- and our family. Today we hung out with Auntie Em & Uncle Russ. Avery played in the sprinklers, gathered rocks and ran around with her cute little piggie tails! I love the stage that she is in right now where she just looks at me and gabs like I know what she's saying-it's so cute. She also clenches her little fists and lets out high pitched screams-this not so cute:) I've been thinking about a conversation I had with one of my best friends. I miss her so much and it is fun to stay in touch even more now with blogs. We were talking about how fun it is to see what friends are up to and then she said how everyone's lives appear so happy and perfect in the blogging world-it is true. It's kinda like Pleasantville. Well, my life isn't perfect and I am sure we all have our struggles. But I guess we just blog the things in our lives that make us happy and the things that we want to share and remember.

Besides no one wants to see a fussy Miss Avery; so here's some cute toesies instead.
;o)

Liz- you are too cute! I think you have such a great little family. It is so true what you said about blogs. Avery is very cute. When we come up in a few weeks we should have her and Haley play.

I think our scrapbooks can get that "Pleasantville" touch too. I know I could be better about including some of the moodiness or the travails of our family. It's the whole package, right?
PS: Beautiful little girl & love the pigtails :)

Just the other night at dinner, we had a similar convo with another couple. He was basically saying blogs are vain. I think they have potential to become a bragging board, but I don't see yours like that! His wife's response was, "if you don't want to see a pic of my new house then don't look at my blog!"

she is darling Liz. I like your blog, I am in the middle of New Moon. Part of me can't stop reading and part of me wants to pace myself because I love it and want it to last. I still want you to do some updated family pictures for me so let me know when you have time.

Keep on blogging the pleasantries and the simple joys of life, Liz. . . we all need to remind ourselves of the sweetness that can be ours in "normal" life. . .instead of thinking we have to go to glamorous spots or be glamorous people in order to have things matter.

We matter. We do!
