The craziness all began about a year ago when Collin and I decided to set some personal goals. One of my scrapbooking goals was to have one layout published in CK- that's all, just one layout. And I am happy to say it's officially achieved! But be careful what you wish for because it's amazing the power your goals have when you write them down.
I am so excited for Thanksgiving because it means a whole day devoted to yummy food, family, no work, and more food! Mmmmm pumpkin pie!! (Try it with a few drops of peppermint oil in the whipped cream-soooo good!)
If you are like my family, every year we go around the table and say what we are grateful for, but everyone usually says the same thing: family, my health, my children... That's why I love these place cards from Pottery Barn. They each have a fun, thought provoking question for everyone to answer. Now I just need Nicole LaRue to design some really cute ones!!
PS Some of you have been asking me about the cover. It was taken at my house in our TV room. I am sitting on an old console I bought at a thrift store and painted. The lamp is from Ikea:)

The place card idea is so cute!! We usually get the same old answers too. I may have to whip up something like this before thursday!! You look like you're having fun with the Jan CK. Look for my name in one of the new columns!! I think it was about how many LO's i'll do in 08!!

No you've got me totally ecited to get my issue!! My husband didn't find out that I'd even responded till last week. I think he was a little shocked that I was picked. He's finally figuring out how much I love scrapbooking!! LOL.

You can get those conversation cards at a cute little store in Riverwoods called Kaleidoscope, and if you come in on Monday or Saturday... you will see a familiar face!!! And congrats on the cover, you're amazing!
