Poppy Paradise

I was a guest designer for Poppy Ink! click here. I love the kits Heather puts together because they are full of the coolest products around! I've been dieing to get my hands on some of that KI lace paper since I saw it showcased as one of CK's hot picks from CHA. And you know I love anything Basic Grey when even Collin knows what BG stands for!
My cute friend Noel has a page featured on CK's homepage of her darling daughters. click here.
I have been so sick all weekend with a flu that's been passed around our family. Wow, really makes me appreciate my health more!
Just wanted to share these pages! Happy Tuesday!

You are so talented Liz. Do you want to teach some classes sometime? Hey, you interested in doing a playgroup this month and we can all get together and let the kiddies play?

This is so random..... but. My daughter has hair like Avery. What kind of bow is that in her hair? I can't find anything that will stay in Annastasia's hair. It's so soft and whispy nothing works. Hers seems to be staying in place.LOL!! I know. I'm a dork.

I already told you your layouts are GREAT!!

Ooo...I just love the bright colors you use! Fun pages!

So are they waiting until next year to give you a blog and a link on the CK website? They've announced you in the magazine and on the site, right? Just wondering! Hope you're having a lovely evening! :)

Super cute layouts. I've been in a creating streak lately... but nothing to really post... like the stuff you posted.

I've mostly been working on Christmas related items for our ward's Super Saturday(which is tomorrow). I was asked to do a display table on scrapbooking stuff that's holiday (mostly Christmas) related. So, it's been a challenge because I don't normally enjoy doing seasonal things. BUT I've had fun getting out of my comfort zone! And now I'm feeling super creative.

For some reason, winning an honorable mention in HOF grants me "scrap celebrity" status in my ward. Whatever... Ha!

I Submitted a few of the things I made to the Basic Grey gallery and had them accepted this morning. So that was exciting. I haven't submitted anything to them since August! I have pictures of my Basic Grey related items on my blog. I plan on taking better pictures tomorrow after I get my display table set up!

Hope you are finally feeling better from the Flu. I'm yet to catch a bug this year (knock on wood). I know that sickness is just around the corner! I have to get super duper sick at least ONCE a year!!!

Sorry for the uber long post. Haven't chatted it up with you for awhile!

Amy Hummel

P.S. My husband recently got me "The Nightmare Before Christmas," (I've been searching for it for over a year now). Anyway, everytime I watch it (which has been 3 times this week) I think of your rockin' halloween costume!
