all you need is love...

and some pinking shears.

Valentine's Day is truly one of my favorite holidays. I have been working on some fun "love" projects and it makes you wanna watch a cheesy chick flick with some Ben and Jerry's. As a matter of fact, late last night when Collin and Avery were in bed, I was finishing this album and turned on "It's Your Love" by Tim McGraw and "When You Say Nothing At All" by Allison Kraus. I'm not ashamed to admit that I listened to those 2 sappy love songs over and over. :)

This was such a fun album because it's something I've never tried before and was inspired by Donna Downey's fabric creations. I used a Rusty Pickle chipboard heart album and covered it with fabric. Then just added pics about a few of my luvs! Some of the pics you can click on to see a closer look or click here.

This book is such a cute treasure that you can put up year after year.

It would also make a fun anniversary gift for a milestone year.

Did you actually have to sew- or would just glue make the cut?

That is so awesome! Please let me know how you did this. Did you sew all around the chipboard heart then cut? If so, how hard was it to follow the heart shape with the sewing machine.

To answer a couple questions...

you actually do have to sew to get the look for this album

I cut out all the hearts first, just lightly glued them to the album to stay on while I sewed them together.

I printed out the pics at home. Sizes range from 1.5"-2.5"

yes this is a present...for myself!!:) And hopefully Avery to enjoy someday. She's not allowed to touch it right now:)

I got them at a local store in Utah. But the designer is Moda "all you need is love" line
