for the love of speed

There is not much that I would do to sacrifice freezing my butt off... sledding with the fam on New Year's Eve was pushing it, but it was tonz of fun! This wasn't your sissy back yard sledding. This was hardcore, tow rope, hold onto yer butts, steep, supervised tubing! It didn't take Collin long to figure out all the tricks to have him flying down the mountain at 31 mph and almost through the fence! (Yes, he was wearing a GPS watch that had a speedometer-dork).

Avery looked like a frozen blueberry and loved going down the kiddie hill! We spent a lot of time in the lodge making new friends who shared their goldfish crackers and sweedish fish with us!
Thanks Gigi and Grandpa for the fun trip! Definitely worth the frozen toesies and nosies.

What a blast. I love that your husband is a "techie" tracking his speed. I am guessing he's a competitive spirit?

I have got to get my family up to the snow...best pictures. With all of this rain in LA right now, the snow is very low.

I am a brand new blogger...any tips on how to get my slideshow vertically to the side of my blog like you have done, instead of listed as a posting that keep moving down?

Thanks!

I find it super funny about Collin and the GPS watch! Maybe because he sounds just as dorky as my husband. He'd totally do something like that!

31MPH! That's haulin'!

I haven't been sledding in several years because I always have a young kid that hates the snow. They don't really grow to appreciate and love it until around 3/4. 1 year olds... not so much!

Plus I think it might be kind of funny to see a 31 week pregnant lady flying down a hill at 31 MPH!

can you be any cuter of a family? Seriously... you guys look like you always have a good time together. Avery is getting so big and even more beautiful... is that even possible?

Thanks so much for your help on adjusting my slideshow, Liz. Your directions were perfect.

As I was working on it, my 7 year old, Hunter, asked me if I was working on my "glob" again?!

Love it! Thanks again.

How fun! And yes what a dork for the whole speedometer thing-but it totally sounds like something mine would do...ha ha! The pic of you and Avery is gorgeous! I am missing the Utah snow a little bit being out here in Portland, but only a little bit-I HATE being cold!!!
