miss him

Hi! So this guy is off on a cruise. I mean 'business trip' if you can even call it that:)! Last night I got him goodies for the plane and left notes in his bag-I know I'm a cute wife. Just kidding. But he does put up with all my drama! I am sad though because it will be the longest we've ever been apart. I'm not good at saying 'bye,' even if it is only for a week! But thank goodness I will have CHA to keep my mind off our time apart. I am so excited about it-talk about Scrapbooker's Paradise! Anyone else out there in blogger world going?
So, while Avery and I have the crib to ourselves we will be busy getting Valentine's projects together, watching chick flicks (or atleast Dora) and eating Mommy's recent cravings marshmallows and grapefruit. (Not together of course.)

I am laughing at the "Business Trip" comment because I feel the same way about my DH's trips. He is on his way to Vegas for 1 week and than will be going to Nappa Valley in April. I can hardly say those are bad "business trips".

Enjoy your time with your little one. I too am pregnant w/my second child right now {6 months} and taking every opportunity possible to spend 1 on 1 time with my daughter.

Gotta love those cravings....I had a hankering for chili cheese fries everyday...no wonder Madi weighed 8lbs at birth..holy cow. Have fun at CHA. I hope someday I get a chance to go! How fun!

That is exactly what I did while my hubby was in Iraq. My kids and I watched movies together and when they were in bed and couldn't get into my stuff I ate goodies (namely brownies and ice cream) and did all my fun projects. Jealous about the CHA.

I want a rootbeer float right now, well ever since last night anyway... can't wait to see tummy pics!

No CHA for me...

I'm not on any DT's or anything, therefore I don't have a ticket! But I'm dying to go. It's only a 5-6 hour drive for me, and I'd totally do it with a way in... despite being 35 weeks preggo!

Totally with you on the Grapefruit! We are having #4 in about 8 weeks and I've been buying the biggest Ruby Reds I can find at my local Whole Foods Market. Cut in half and sprinkled with some sugar - Yum! Yum!

Man! I just don't understand how a man can leave his wife behind while he is out gallivanting around on some tropical island, leaving his woman to take care of the kids in the freezing cold weather;-). By the way, did I mention it hit the low 80's here in the Philippines today? Hang in there Liz, your night in shining suntan oil will soon return from his his adventures abroad to help change the diapers once again.
