bird fever

What do you do while you watch American Idol on Tuesday night and a movie last night? Cut out birds.

Last night we watched 'Dan in Real Life.' It's a good flick. That family is hilarious! Collin and I were laughing so hard at Dan's dramatic daughters since that is what we'll be going through someday. "You are a murderer of love!":) Collin will be polishing his rifle whenever a boy comes to pick up one of his girls.

This morning I hung the birds in Avery's room. You can find them here. I did enlarge them to about 8.5."

And I cut out these 'party chicks' for Easter decor and bought some wheat grass yesterday to put them in. I can't believe I actually paid for grass-but it's all for the cause:)! I want to get a pot to put the grass in for each of the birds with some flowers. These are another Heather Bailey pattern that you can find in the side bar here.

I love Easter. Any fun Easter plans/traditions? Our traditions kick off with Avery's first Easter Egg Hunt tomorrow morning. Well, this year she'll actually know what's going on. :)

I am loving birds right now too. I am almost ready to decorate my daughters room. . . I fell in love with pottery barn's penelope girls bedding (pink and green with birds, doesn't get better than that!)

Thanks again for another great idea. Seriously do you want to fly to dallas and decorate my whole house for me :)

So I'm sure Avery has a cute Easter dress. Easter is my favorite to, its just because I get to doll my kids up. You know with all the cute accessories purses, gloves, sparkles all that jazz. I hope you guys have a great Easter. Give me a call when you get a minute.

YES! I knew you'd LOVE that movie!!!

And having 3 girls, I can soooo see myself in Dan's position in about 10 years! Scary!

"Put me down."

"What's your talent?"

"Murder of love."

Love the birds. Maybe I'll have to try it to put in baby Teslyn's room.

Did you know that Colbie Caillat is playing in St. George the beginning of April? I'm trying to see if I can go somehow. I'm pretty sure that my husband won't want to go with me ;)

I totally agree on the movie Dan In Real Life. What's so funny is I sceamed something very similar at my dad over not letting me go see the New Kids on the Block! LOL Oh the drama of a teenage girl! ;)

Hi, Elizabeth I thought I would just pop by to say that these birds are divine and I have a go at making one myself and given your blog a mention as the inspiration for them. Hope that's okay. Thanks Anna
