a birdie and a bribe

Modeling this weeks fashion is our
darling Avery.
Remember those bird templates from Easter? I decided I wasn't finished with them yet. With a little fabric, pins, and thread-voila! Actually sewing it together was the easy part. The hard part was getting her to sit still long enough to snap a picture. But break out some fruit snacks and she was all smiles. You'd think all this excitement would be about her stylin' shirt. Nope. She is drooling and waving her arms for the cherry flavored gummy princess in my hand.

Wanted to put in on a white shirt but let's be realistic.:)

Very cute! You've inspired me to take a second look at some of my paper piecing templates and see what I can do with them and a little fabric!
