Have you ever been inspired by an ad for your scrapbooking? One of our challenges with the Poppy Ink kit was to scrapbook a page after flipping through a magazine. This is what I came up with.

I have a soft spot for vintage trims. They can be the icing on the cake for any project.

And look what I got in the mail... yay!! How'd that other stuff get in there? :) It was my excuse to buy a cute recycle tee. :)

First off - CONGRATULATIONS on your new little one!
I've been busy and not able to read your blog regularly like I used......
LOVE this layout and YES, I regularly use magazine ads for not only my scrapbooking but also my mixed media artwork as well.
Sometimes its just the colours and sometimes its how things are laid out on the page.....

Clearly baby Quincey is sleeping through the night? How else do you get all that scrapbooking done with a two-year old and a newborn, huh? Hope I get a shades of summer pack soon...we've been having a great summer here in Cincinnati! Take care!

Love the summer toes layout! Fun colors. What is the name of the paper you used at the top? I saw it on the poppy ink kit but can't figure out what it's called. If you could let me know I would appreciate it!

Congrats on the new addition, your family is too cute!

Cute layout! I love the vintage trim as well! My mom lives in a very small town in SD and they have a wonderful little thrift store where I can sometimes fall upon bunches of it for pennies! Love when that happens! Your new banner is cute as well! Always love to check your blog for inspiration! Can't wait to see more baby pics! =)

Thanks for that tip! I don't use photoshop actions much (I tried some free ones I found on the Internet), but they make photo editing much, much simpler! I recently found the ones you were talking about, and they're perfect! Thanks again!
And I see you did your own form of retail therapy :-) Bless Internet shopping!
