Sometimes things happen in life and you can't comprehend why? All you can hold fast and steady to is the comfort in knowing that God has a plan for each of us and hears our prayers.
This beautiful girl, Stephanie, and I became friends in 6th grade. I ran into her a while ago at the mall and she's the same friendly, cheerful girl I remember. We keep in touch through blogs-she's such an inspiring mommy and wife.
I'm posting this as a request to pray for her and her husband who were in a private plane crash. They survived but are both hospitalized with severe burns. Steph and her husband are in for a long recovery (months). If you would please say a prayer for them as well as their 4 beautiful children it would be greatly appreciated! Nie Nie's blog is linked here and her sister keeps us updated here.
Thanks.

Oh my goodness, thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery! Let me know if they need anything!
Ohmygoodness... I'll add her to my prayer list!
OH MY! I will definitely pray for their healing.
Thank you for letting us know...in addition to praying directly to God, we ask saints to intercede for particular instances...this is one where Saint Panteleimon, who was a physician of body and soul, to help! May God restore them, as we know He can...He made the blind to see, the lame to walk.
Oh no :( I will certainly include them in my prayers, the poor things. I hope everything comes out OK for them.
how awful...i will certainly say a prayer for both of them...
Ohhh... I just looked at her blog. Ugh! My heart is heavy right now. Good thing your blog is so busy... hopefully all will see, read, and pray!
we're praying fiercely for her as well. She's still inspiring and touching hundreds....

Oh how awful, how tragic. I find it hard to stop the tears from coming after reading the blogs. My prayers go out to them.
our prayers will definitely be with their family.
That's terrible! They will be in my prayers!
She and her family will be in my prayers.
May God watch over their family and keep them safe! They will be in my prayers. I can't help but to tear up for the kids. I couldn't imagine going through this. It sounds like they have great support and family/friends who are there for them. I don't even know what else to say. Thanks for sharing Liz.
What can I say, praying for them & also strength for their family & beautiful children. many thoughts. Mxx
It's amazing how life can change so quickly. I will most definitely pray for them. It's wonderful to know that our Heavenly Father has a divine plan in place for each of us, as ever challenging as it may sometimes be. Tonight I read the other blogs and cried, I will be more grateful for each day, each moment I have- my prayers are with her and her family.
Though I often see your work in CK, I was just introduced to your blog by a friend yesterday. I don't believe that this was a coincidence. When I came across this post, it reminded me how God works in mysterious ways. My husband works at the hospital where Stephanie and her Husband are being treated. He has actually been involved in her treatment. He says that she is doing well. Please rest assured that she is in good hands and is receiving excellent care. The hospital she is at has the 2nd largest burn treatment center in the country, and the Doctors are very knowledgeable and experienced. May God give you comfort in your time of mourning, and give her strength and determination to recover.
Definetly sending prayers. I read her sisters blog from the beginning and will be checking back to see how they are doing.
