The October Creating Keepsakes has gotten me so excited for Halloween!! Remember Borat+Sally last year? You're never too old for Halloween, right? Are you dressing up? I'm debating between Lucille Ball or a Flapper Girl this year, searching for an Aerial costume for Avery & trying to find something warm, comfy & cute for Quincey.
In CK look for the amazing Halloween decor by Candice Stringham-move over Martha! It was also fun to see where Kelly Purkey scraps & in Dear Lizzy I talk about how to deal with page protectors when you have hidden journaling etc. Here's a peek.

I always had the page protector problem but never thought about cutting them......BRILLIANT! :-)
Your blog makes me happy! Love the layout!
So cute Liz. I love your style. Tell Avery Hi and that we miss her. We need to come over and play with her or she needs to come over and play with us. Love you Liz so much hope you are having a great day!
How about Olive Oil? Colin would make a great Poppeye!
haha! love that idea. Olive Oil is HOT! ;)
This is FABULOUS!
I LOVE the tabs at the top!
my vote is lucille ball... she is my favorite of all time and you could sooooo pull her off
:)
Being a teacher, I have to dress up for class every year. I am usually Olive Oil, Marge Simpson, or a mime, so I have an excuse to NOT talk to the kids for one full day... hee hee hee!
Flappers are always stylin. You could pull anything off!
(my bday was the 7th by the way... and thanks for the link to the online photo class. I've been wanting to learn more about photography and now i'm signed up for the course and ready to learn!)
Babystyle or Gymboree usually have cute baby costumes. I haven't checked in a while, my kids are too big for them now :(
LOVE that LO!!
love that "grow" layout in the new CK....i always go find your "stuff" first...
i know whatever you & collin choose will be "off the hook"....can't wait to see pics!...
too cute!
anna

hahahaaaaaaa! i totally forgot about Borat & Sally - loved having the reminder :)
Try costumes at Old Navy- so sweet for little ones, and warm
Thanks for leaving such a nice comment on my blog :) I always love your articles, they rock.
You have such a beautiful family, btw :)
First I have to say I love this Layout! I just found a website where you can make custom bingo cards. I'm putting them in a kit I'm going to be selling on etsy!! I can't believe you have one on your LO!! I'm always a day late you know. Second, love Halloween. Annastasia wants to be a "merdaid" too! She sayd it wrong! LOL!!Or a banana. Not sure yet. She can't make up her mind. We might be something, but haven't figured it out yet! Thanks for sharing.
What a cute LO!!!!
I like Lucy! You can find an Ariel costume on disney dot com, and it may even be on sale!
Lucy is the best, ever. Halloween is my least favorite holiday but I love getting the kids ready and seeing them into all the stuff. Kids make everything fun!
Your column is the first thing I read when I get my issue in the mail. Love your advice and your layouts. It always inspires me to get scrapping.
Okay my daughter is going to be Ariel for Halloween as well and we found one that is much cheaper than the one at Disneyland (which good Lord it was expensive!) I will have to find that catalog again. Anyway, love your layouts and I LOVED my October CK magazine. I can't wait to start making some halloween decor! Woo Hoo!
Love the layout-so cute! I love reading you blog & your pictures are always amazing. My 4 & I especially love the music you have on it. She loves to dance to it. I'm so not techno savvy and can't burn cd's or anything so a lot of times I will just turn on your blog and leave it on for the music. Just wish I had internet access in the car ;) Thank's for letting us take a peek into your life! Carly, craftiegal @ ckmb
if Avery is going to be Ariel (they have a cute but spendy Ariel at the Disney store), just a note: I found a baby flounder costume on brandsonsale.com. So cute! And warm and comfy for that cute baby!
We have those same Froggy boots at our house! I wear them all the time...only kidding. My son begged me for those at the store and I couldn't resist getting them even if they are a bit girly. I took photos to do a layout ages ago and never did it. So that Smiling Frog layout is giving me some inspiration to finally do it.
While looking for halloween costumes for my kids today. I came across a costume site that had "Ken & Barbie". I thought of you and Collin... think you'd make the perfect "Ken & Barbie".
Oh, I love this layout! It's so fun!
