As a school teacher, I felt it was my duty to empower my 6th graders a bit today. I held a mock election, showed a few powerful youtube clips, and check out what I wore...
of course I did.... this day and age you have too... you must be aware of all....God bless us all.

We totally did! Took a nice morning walk as a family to our precinct and then went to a french cafe for breakfast afterwards. They even gave our little girl a 1st time voter sticker, but she was with me at the primaries too.

Yep!! 1st thing this a.m. Walked in, cast my ballot and walked out PROUD! In all of 5 mins.
I voted last election and Clay Aiken still lost.

I sure did! My 4 year old and I went~I make the choices and he pushed the button. Then he told everyone in Kroger that we voted for "the old man and the lady."
