11:13am

Forget Friday the 13th... try 11:13 am.

This was the second time I was on Studio 5 and it could quite possibly be the scariest 7 minutes and 33 seconds ever! :)

But really... the whole experience was a blast & Brooke Walker is SO great to work with!
This segment focused on 'how to dress up a basic tee with fabric.' I loved designing the different shirts with some of my favorite fabric from Sandi Henderson & Amy Butler. Do you love the little mannequin that GAP let me borrow? It was cute because it was just about Avery's size. :)

I thought it would be fun to giveaway one of the baby onesies I made for the show...

That is the cutest onesie you have made there!

I wish I could say its 7:30am when the whole house is alive with the voice of 4 little girls.....but truthfully its 11pm. I am just getting my 2nd wind...I reflect on the good and bad of the day...I plan for things to go better the next day...I recollect of cherished memories of my only son who graced us for just 5 short months...I create...I am to myself and my thoughts!!! I love it.

oh goodness, I'd say 8:45 p.m.
I love love LOVE my babies, but those minutes after putting them to bed, after tooth brushing and book reading, prayers and cuddles when my husband and I get to take a deep breath, and bask in the blessings we shared and appreciated that day, THAT's the time I love. Because messes are fun, kids are beautiful, but that's the time I really sit, ponder and realize, I wouldn't trade my life for anyone elses!

Funny - I've never had anyone ask before an now here I am confessing my love for 9:54. It catches my eye everytime. I may be slightly OCD when it cmes to number patterns anyway but his one pattern is mine. I claim it. I like it in the morning because it's about the time to delve into the day with vigor - no more excuses! And at night, it's about the time I wind down the day. It just works. :)

Really anytime that I get to spend with both my son and hubby. He has been in the Army PA (physicians assistant) program this year and studies ALL the time. They do 2 years of school in 1, but he has straight a's so Im proud!!! But time with him is limited and even more so during hours that our son is awake. But if I had to choose a time I would say 5pm since hubby is home and able to spend a few minutes with us!!! This year is almost over and then we are moving to GA!!!

1:55 pm. Before my husband and I were married we counted down the days. There were 155 days until The Day! We always spotted that number everywhere, and it reminded us of our special day. My favorite time of the day is any time that has double digits, like 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, etc. I love making a wish and hoping for something. I know it is cheesy but it was something my mom always taught us to do, and at 27 I still love it. It's always fun to hope for things. :)
I also like when it is around 5:45 pm and I just got off work and drove an hour home. I love seeing my 2 1/2 year old daughter standing in the front door window waving her little arm as fast as she can. I also love it when my mom opens the door and Zoie rushes into my arms. That takes away any bad day that I might be having. All is right with the world when your child says "I Love You Mommy."

I love 4:30 pm because that is when I pull into the driveway after a crazy day at work and I know my husband and daughter are waiting for me........

well first..brooke is one of my best friends and she had so many good things to say about you:) Second..I LOVE your blog! So cute and fun- I love that your husband even jumps in every once in a while! You are a darling mom and last my favorite time is usually 10:00 in the morning because my kids are all still happy, breakfast is cleaned up, and I've had a good night sleep to give me the energy I need to take care of them:)

9:15. After my hour long workout (starting at 8 ending at 9) I get home around 9:15 and get a HUGE hug and a kiss from my man, and he does not even care that I am sweaty! I love that guy!

my favorite time of day...hmmmm... 7pm...dinner time!!! what's not to love about dinner time? family together, winding down, knowing you're taking care of the family, and the food!!

I'm definitely an "after noon" person, so my stride starts around 2:00pm in the afternoon...

My favorite time of the day is 4pm... the air just seems to be so perfect at that time... and the day is almost over...

4:00pm. I am a WAHM (work at home Mom) and I work mostly with people in the Eastern and Central time zones, so once that clock hits 4pm, I can focus 100% on my little girl and my home.

6:00pm. The entire family home from a long day of daycare and work and we get to gather around the table, have dinner and just be together. I love family time.

Great job on Studio 5! I watched it online and it gave me so many great ideas for Madi and for Baby #2. I can't wait!

I've always had a little 'crush' on 11:11, and it seems like I almost always happen to be looking at a clock at that time, too! :) (at least in the morning-i'm hopefully asleep at night!)

Unknown said...

My favorite time is about 3:30 p.m. The kiddos wake up from their naps sleepy eyed and ready to snuggle and my husband is on his way home:)
Onesie is very cute.

I love 5:00 pm every day because I get to leave "job" behind and be with my family. With two boys, the real "work" begins, but I LOVE it!

Your shirt is adorable!

During the summer around 8:30 p.m. Just finishing up an evening of playing outside with my girls and hubby. Enjoying the somewhat cooled down air. (It gets hot down here in So. Utah)
*Loved the segment on Studio 5. It was perfect timing for me. We are expecting our 3rd (a boy) in June and with a very limited budget I was excited that I can make him some cute onsies fairly affordable.

7:30 pm, bedtime. Time to read and snuggle with my three little ones.

At this point in my life with my 2 1/2 year old wild indian, and my sweet 2 week old baby, my favorite time of day is about 8:32 pm when they are both asleep and the house is calm and quiet!

Lindsey said...

My favorite time of the day would definately be 7:00pm. That is what time my husband gets home and dinner is on the table waiting for him. Both my boys are super excited to see him as well as I and so it makes the whole day worth it to be able to be together and enjoy a meal with my loved ones!
BTW I loved you segment as well. I was just barely telling my mom that I had seen someone do that on their blog and wanted to learn how so I could make baby gifts. She called me and said "turn on the TV to Studio 5 right now they are teaching how to make those shirts!" Woohoo!! I was very excited. thanks for sharing your talent and creativity!

Right now I'm liking 6:30pm, because that's when my hubby gets home from work. I miss him throughout the day, so it's great to have him come home!
Our little one would love that super cute shirt when he/she arrives in August!

10AM. It just seems like the most glorious time of the day - so much possibility.

Hmmm, I gues I would say about 12:50, cause my little guy goes down for his nap, my 4 yr old has quiet time and I have MOMMY Time, time to think, create, and relax!!

I love story time before bed with my son. He's all snuggly in his footy pajamas and fresh from the tub and smells so good. He listens so intently to the story and we rock and hold each other. It's the most rewarding 30 minutes of the whole day.

My favorite time is 10:30 p.m.--when I finally hit the pillow after a long day.

Noon. I enjoy breaking for lunch and eating, but then I still have time to get more things done.

It's gotta be the night. I'm a night owl, which sometimes makes getting up the next morning hard, but a sweet little baby makes it so much eaiser. I love quiet time, I love how quiet it is at night. I can do whatever I want, as I try to get all the house work done during the day, which leaves me to do whatever. I love to get on the computer, scrap, read, or sometimes just watch tv.

5:30am. Just enough time to myself before my sweet girl wakes up for breakfast at 7 :)

5:13 PM- I get home from work where my roommates are waiting for me to watch What I Like About You and relax from a long day. (My sister is pregnant with her first...hence me entering for the giveaway) :)

5:43 p.m. is our favorite time of the day because we go sit on the front steps of the house and wait for my husband to come home. he calls when he leaves the office and we have 17 minutes (yes i count it to the min:) to play and watch for him to come down the street. presley gets so excited when she sees his car and gets to run into his arms when he gets out. it makes my day (and hers:)

1:30pm. That's when I get to take a break to eat some lunch and play with my puppy!

10:15...the time of night when I finally snuggle in to bed with the hubby and I can hear our little one softly breathing just one room away. It reminds me that God is with us in everything we do and he will keep us safe while we all sleep.

11:45am I only have a few more months of this special time. My youngest "baby" girl and I have lunch everyday together. Aliese will start Kindergarten in the fall. We come to your website, crank up the volume and sing and dance and prepare our lunch together. Happy music and happy days.

5:30 pm because that is when my husband comes home from work and nothing seems quite as bad anymore. very cute little onesie. i'd love to know how to make them.

Probably 7:30 pm on weeknights. The kids all run to brush teeth and get ready for bed so I can read to them for an hour. I just finished reading Summer of the Monkeys. I had to hand the book to my husband because I couldn't read while I was crying. (Yes, I'm pg!!) Such a good book. So awesome not to have 'getting ready for bed' be a struggle.

3:45 a.m....the time my little guy wake up to nurse. the house is so still and quiet, and i can just enjoy my baby without the distraction and chaos that three kiddos under age 4 tend to bring.

7pm, because that means work is over, the gym is over, and I can spend the rest of the evening doing what I want to do!

Mine is now, 1:16pm. I put my girls down for a nap, call my dear husband to see how his day is going, check my email, and then take an afternoon nap next to one of my snugglebugs. I love it.

10:19 (am or pm). I was born on Oct 19 and for years now, it seems I always look at the clock right at that time, my bills total $10.19 quite often, people call me and leave messages, I get emails, etc. etc. etc. all at 10:19. It's really strange and crazy. My husband thinks someone is trying to tell me something but I can't figure out what!

I found you blog through a friend of mine! I,love the stuff that you do! But I bet I'm not the first to say that... I wanted to et you know I totally know how you feel about the TV spot! I was on Studio five last year and Good Day Utah a couple of months ago... IT'S TERRIFYING! Is'nt it the most ne4rve racking time.. You don't want to mess up but you know you most likely will! Anyway gotta run just thought I'd tell you GREAT WORK!

Good question. I think I might have a tie between
1) 8:00 am it's the start of a fresh new day, I get to bring my baby into bed with me and nurse him while I doze.
2) 7:30 pm when my hubby gets home from work!
