winners

Thanks for all the chalkboard help from my previous post.
Collin thought it would be a good idea to start small-so the globe was my experimentation. I'm happy to report the results were better than I expected. It's new home is on my bookcase so I can dream about fun places where I hope to explore someday.

I LOVE that you put places you'd like to go on the black globe...I just can't bring myself to paint over the one we have...it's a good geography lesson!

Amanda Probst posted a layout on her blog about a month ago with places she'd already been to...and I did a layout inspired by that:

Glad your try with the chalkboard paint went well. I had the brilliant idea to do the magnetic paint in my scrapbook room. Thought it would be great to have an area to display my layouts and get inspiration. I guess I should have experimented first on something small. Now I have a section of wall that is a different color but not magnetic. At least not strong enough to hold anything significant. Such a bummer. On to plan B I guess.
