The winter is such a dormant time that I absolutely am in awe of the way spring awakens my senses and my creativity. We are so blessed by the seasons so that we can appreciate the awakening spring brings!
New sunglasses, pedicures for the new sandals, and all of the light blues, oranges, pinks and greens...
i love that my tiny little rufous hummingbird friends return from the south and hang around for the summer!

My favorite part of spring is the Kite Festival on the National Mall in Washington DC - it's my fave because my daughter loves it sooo much. It's part of the whole Cherry Blossom festival and if you have never seen the cherry blossoms in bloom around the Jefferson Memorial - add it to your to do list. It is a beautiful sight to behold!

My favorite part about spring is finally getting to put all the bulky winter coats away, and I can dress the boys in their little sweatshirt jackets. I love sweatshirt jackets! I also love my tulips and daffodils that come up along the sides of my walkway to the front door!

My favorite thing has to be the fresh mud puddles that I allow my boys to jump in. This is more fun than anything we could pay to do. Nature is our playground, especially in the Spring!

my absolute favorite part of spring is watching my Hydrangea & Jasmine flowers bloom more and more each day....and the "no sock" weather----being able to buy cute sandals for my little girls. :o)
I love spring! I love the easter egg hunts, the warmer weather, the tulips coming up but I think that my favorite part is the new life. I live in a little farming community in utah. My 3 year old son and I were driving around looking at the baby lambs, little goats, calfs, and we even found some baby turkeys. What a joy that was for him to be able to see new life. Also, to top it all off we will have a new little baby in home in about 6 weeks!!!
my absolute favorite part of spring is watching things come back to life. i will go out at least once a day and look at all the buds in our yard. sometimes they grow so fast i can almost see it. it's fabulous. watching the world wake up.

Here in Vancouver, we have these beautiful cherry trees. They all come into bloom at the same time. The streets are filled with enormous pink trees that smell absolutely divine. The entire city seems perfumed. It's lovely, lovely, lovely!

The sun comes out from hiding and you just get that warm feeling that makes you wanta find your flip flops! You can smell spring in the air...I love to see the first flowers downtown in Savannah where I live and all the tourists start popping up too! It's like everyone is happier..Spring brings new life and just makes me joyful! You know...kinda like the feeling I'd get if I won the Scarlet Lime kit...a totally happy excited spring in my step feeling :)
My husbands hours have been cut at work so my scrapbook shopping is being cut..so I totally would SCREAM with joy if I won!

Since we just moved to the DC area, I have to say that the best thing about spring is seeing the cherry blossoms in full bloom. They are so stunning and make you appreciate nature.
