The best thing about Spring...It comes along just in time. Just in time to rescue us from the gray and chill of winter.
I LOVE watching the tree in our front yard go from little sprouts on a mass of limbs to on fire with color all in a few weeks..oh and the smell of the lilacs, those wonderful lilacs!

My favorite part of Spring is knowing that I'm going to wake up to the baby birds chirping outside my window. Momma bird always builds her nest in the same place every year.

What I love about spring, being reminded of how great of love God has for as all by allowing the earth to change, bringing everything new life. I love watching the grass go from a light brown to green, watching the blossoms on the trees bloom. And of course the baby animals, and robins coming back to town.

Just the "hint" of anything possible, starting anew, flowers blooming, seeing Robins in the yard and (even though we're not experiencing this quite yet due to our late winter), the anticipation of having the SUN come out to play....are all wonderful things about SPRING!!!!!

I love, love, love being able to open all of the windows in my house to air out all of the stuffy winterness. But the best thing about spring is being able to send the kidlets outside for a little exploring and improvement of imaginations!!!
Wow! Everyone wants that kit.... and I am no exception :) For me this year I have been loving all the yellow!!! Dandelions and the cute purse and hat I bought that are all yellow. But Our Lord Jesus definitely tops that list. Love Easter and what it means to me.

My favorite part of spring is that we can spend time outside without cooking (Gilbert AZ). Everything has a softer glow about it, you're equally comfortable in pants or shorts, and the breeze is cool (unlike the summer when it's like standing downwind of the biggest hairdryer on hot).
I love the crocus and hyacinth pushing up and peeking out of the cold ground on a clear day. Makes me smile and dream of summer days full of color to come... out

I can't wait to have 2 kids that are walking this year (3.5 and almost 2)...Last year my little one was crawling...it made life difficult...our first thing on the agenda...a nature walk followed up by nature art....Have to say that I love your work and all your blogging tid-bits!
My fav part of spring is my husbands family Easter celebration called Jiggen. It is a slovenian tradion and my kids just love it. So much history and family tradtion behind it...plus the yummy foods like potica!! It is the beginning of springs rebirth, for us and our family!

Picture a beautiful crepe myrtle in bloom- awesome right? But even more awesome is the ground beneath it- the green grass absolutely covered in petals that have fallen off in the spring breeze. Makes me smile every time!

Being a grownup and acting like a kid running barefoot outdoors. When I was a kid my mom wouldn't let us go barefoot until all of the snow had melted off the mountain tops, so it was practically August by then! Now that I'm an adult I can run around barefoot all spring, summer and fall - regardless of the snow on the mountains!
Spring is inspiring because everything looks brighter....time for renewal!

Newness of life... Spring is always fresh with so much vibrancy and displaying God's beauty. As a child I loved going to my Grandma's house seeing the daffodils sprinkled through out her farm yard in the spring, the bright yellow against the green grass! Now when I see those bright and cheery daffodils I just smile from the inside out!
