heart attack

I'm still loving Good Reads. Hey Mikey, your Dad wrote this classic;) I love my inherited vintage spools from my mom because she sewed a lot of my clothes when I was a little girl with these threads.

I hope you had a Happy Love Day! We enjoyed a romantic night with the 3 of us at Cafe Rio. But hopefully we will go on a hot date this weekend! Collin gave me these gorgeous roses. I missed him so much! It feels good to be together again! CHA was amazing like I imagined. Some very cool stuff is coming out and I also met some fabulous people too. I will post that later!

Did everyone follow through with their cute ideas from the previous post? How was the result? Thanks for all the ideas by the way:)!

Love mail.
XOXO Monkey love!

I LOVE the little mail boxes...those are too cute! I'm glad to hear you had a lovely V-day, even without your boo there with you (roses ARE gorgeous, by the way). I made cards and cupcakes for my friends, who I feel are like my children sometimes, so it all works out :-) As for what I did with MY sweetheart: we orded some pasta and watched a couple episodes of Nip/Tuck. Sure, it's not SUPER romantic, but hey. To top it all off, I went through the plan I had for my father, and he LOVED it! He called me when the pizza got to him and he said he couldn't believe I managed to pull something like that off. What can I say? I'm a genius :-)

Hi! I just LOVE the music on your blog! I finally got with the times and created a blog of my own and had to copy your music choices! My husband started to tease me because I had your blog opened on my computer every single day because I loved listening to your music! I still like to "check in" and see all the fantastic things you are doing! I have scrapbooked for years and have had a subscription to CK since their very first issue! SOTY would be awesome - you've inspired me!

Hello: I'm new to your blog and to blogging in general. Saw you on the cover of CK and love your dress you were waering...Can you tell me where I can get one? Love your art and your photography. Your family is gorgeous too. So how's Utah compared to the rest of the country? I'm so far away in Connecticut. Take care! New fan Deena

I so 2nd loving the "inherited vintage spools" I too have my moms and I have the same memory with them. Still to this day... I love the sound of a sewing machine. It reminds me of my mom finishing up our Easter Dresses late at night.

Hey, I recognize the binding of that book. Good ole' EFM books. They're always good for those special sundays when you're called on the night before church to talk.

Sounds like V-Day was a blast for you guys at Cafe Rio....Lame Collin!!! Where did your spontaneous idea generating genes go???

Love the monkey! and the mailboxes, you have given me a great idea for my crew. I think I'll make each a mailbox and leave daily messages for them. They love MAIL! Thanks for the inspiration! I missed you at CHA @ the CK booth, due to my flight.

I love the 'heart' photos... I have a strange attatchment to my mom's sewing box in general (not sure why.... maybe because it has always been there and never changes)

Love your mailboxes!! They are so cute. I wanted to do something like that for us to put homemade valentines in, but my guys insisted it was too girly. Next year, I don't care how girly it is... we're doing it!! Our Valentine's plans went perfectly as planned except for the movie. Hubby had plans of his own and surprised me with a romance movie (he NEVER does romance movies)!! I love him so much! Enough gushing. Hope your weekend went well!
