Remember and Reunite

I made this album using the Poppy Ink kit a couple months ago and decided to use it for a new art journal. It's been about a year since I've dug into my old journal and I need a fresh start.

A thoughtful blogger remembered this post and emailed me after she saw the news yesterday. (He's 'The Voice' for all the movie trailors.) I'm so sad that he passed away. He was such a generous, loving, hilarious man with an amazing wife and beautiful daughters. We've been close since I was a baby, and although he was extremely busy with work, he always made sure to stay close. Thank you Uncle Don for all you did for our family! We Love You and will miss you!

Now, it's off to the hospital because my little niece is about to arrive!

Ok so can you tell me how the heck you manage to jugle so much!! You're crazy busy all the time. Sorry to hear about your Uncle. Isn't it true though. When one life ends another begins? Enjoy the new bundle of joy! Talk to you soon.

Adorable book--I love the Poppy Ink kits!

And I'm sorry to hear about Don's passing. Sometimes, we really take for granted the "behind the scenes" people like him, and he WILL be incredibly tough to ever replace. So many people probably aren't even aware just how much of a presence he's been in their lives :-(
And I think it's amazing that you even knew him personally, let alone were related to him. I know you'll do a great job passing on his phenomenal life to your little girls.

I was so sad when I read about Don's passing not only on yahoo but all the entertainment news shows as well. I know that you two were close.

On a happy note how fun that Camille is having her baby. Good luck with all that. Tell her congrats from me.

I am sorry to hear of your loss.
I do love your book. Is Poppy Ink still up and running as a club?
Their message board has been down for a long time and there is no preview of a kit. I know you are a design team member at PI,

Liz,

Looking for your e-mail address on the old Shades of Summer post but I can't find it. I finally posted one of my shades of summer layouts on my blog. If you get a chance stop by and check it. It's different from the one I sent along with the Shades but it's still cute nonetheless. Leave me a comment if you stop.

Liz, I had not heard the news until I read your post, and am saddened by it. So sorry... BUT you have a niece coming, and as they say, life goes on. LaFontaine is a beautiful name, isn't it?

Hi, Liz, I always look forward to seeing you in CK each month. Love your work. Would love to win this kit.

Guess the main thing I'm looking forward to this fall is some cooler temps. Also reaping the delicious vegetables from our little fall garden. We're already enjoying a few things. We have been married 47 years and this is the first time we have had a little garden. Amazing how much pleasure it can give you.

Sorry to hear about your uncle. My son saw his picture on the computer and said, "Hey, I know that guy." He was well loved and respected!
Many blessings,
