I'm a big fan of the camera straps *made with love* by the fabulous Shealynn & sold at the *Shey*[B] etsy shop. They make me happy because
a. they come in a bunch of different stylish patterns
b. they slide on and off so it's easy to interchange them
c. they are super cozy around your neck :)
Right now my Canon is hanging from the black and white damask pattern with a pink yo yo flower! Oh, I almost forgot to mention how much I love the yo yo flowers, she layers them and attaches them to your strap with a button. I couldn't help but get a few more of those that I will easily find a home for on one of my next projects. Her 'Summer Fun' strap was also calling my name since I am eagerly waiting for some sunshine.

My "resolution" this year is to follow through on my intentions. I have loads of good intentions but somehow fail to follow through on them. Also, finishing all of my projects, an example being finishing that quilt I started for my daughter when she turned 4. She's now 7!!

Well, most of the "I will" and "I will never again.." has fallen by the wayside already, but the one I want to keep up with is scrapping more. So I can remember the everyday. The things thats imporant to us now.. Sounds like a million others, but thats really it for 2009.
My resolution is to make myself a priority! With 2 kids, age 3 & 1, daily showers and fresh clothes were beginning to become a luxury. But no more! I intend to be fully dressed and pop-in presentable by lunch (don't want to shoot to high...haha!).
My goal this year is to take care of myself first so I can take even better care of my family!
My resolution this year is to nurture my relationship with my children more... it's a goal of fostering my love and channeling it into active mothering and teaching and shared experiences, rather than just being a caretaker with hugs. Of course, taking pictures of our outings and special moments is a big part of our lives, and the Lava Leaves strap would be a great addition to our camera! Thanks for the opportunity, Elizabeth.

My resolutions for 2009 were pretty simple: Read one book per month. So far so good I just finished The Shack, great book if you are looking for a new read. To take more pictures. I actually am taking two photography courses to help with that one. Simplify. Exercise consistently and try to be a little more focused and organized on day to day activities. LOVE the camera straps!!! Gorgeous!!!
My Resolution is to Stay on top of the little things this year, such as downloading pictures once a week versus once every two months, to balance the ckbk and enter cks everyday to be more aware of everyday spending. I am taking one photo a day every day this year. So far I have done it! And they say if you do something for 3 weeks it becomes a habit...tomorrow is 3 weeks! Yay! I think someone using her camera every single day needs one of those straps. Just sayin'.

One of my New Year's resolutions is to take a much needed vacation by driving out west visiting 13 states in 2 weeks. 2008 was not a good year for me healthwise. I came close (very close) to death twice, so this will be to celebrate a new lease on life. This is one resolution that I will not give up on. :)

My New Year's Resolution is do complete the project 365. AND to not be so caught up in posy pictures. I tend to let the reality pictures slip by because one isn't wearing a bow, or the lighting isn't great, or someone isn't wearing the right outfit!

One of my resolutions in 2009 is to write @ least one snail mail letter a week. My first letter of the year went to a home in our neighborhood. I do not personally know the people who live there but our family sure does enjoy their Christmas light display in their yard/home each December. We sent a note thanking them for adding Joy to our Christmas season. My Grandma passed away last week & she was wonderful about sending me & my family hand written letters. I really didn't make a New Year's resolution but in the last few weeks I have really taken stock of my life and want to cherish every moment(good and bad)that I have with my little guy (he is 5) and my big guy that I have. We are in an era of change in our lives and it seems to be speeding by. So I want to relish all the moments and just BE in them, breathing them in.

I didn't really do a New Year's resolution this year, mainly because I'm about to become a first time mom, and I figured there would be enough change for me this year.
I did manage to snag a Project 365 kit, so my goal is to take a picture everyday for the year. Since I will be using my camera so much this year it would be great to have a strap that would make me smile everytime I pull it out!!!

Ooh! I would love this. One of my resolutions is to slow down and enjoy the moment. If my kids ask to snuggle, do it, even though I have papers to grade, photos to edit, and housework.

My New Year's Resolution is to drink more water and less juice/diet coke!

I'm going to take a photo everyday and I'm going to plan less and execute more.
Mine are very general. I would like to do the things on my list of things I never get to. One is sewing, another is communicating more with family.

My main goal for the new year is to accept me for ME!!! I have a hard time allowing myself to be satisfied with what I have done, or what I didn't do, or believing that I am 'GOOD ENOUGH'

My New Years resolution was to be Fierce this year (Fierce is my one word for the year too) It's a daily battle...but am working on what my definition of fierce means...
Also, my scrappy related resolution was to do more 2pagers and to stop trying to be the best or most innovative and just concentrate on getting the memories down...

My goal, like every year, is to walk my dog Joey every day! We did great last week! Now it is Tuesday and I am already making excuses why we should not go! Is the fact that I am starving a good reason?!
My New Year's Resolution is to do Project 365, scrapbook more and work out at the gym. All are going well, except I don't have the kit (like many others), but will come up with something else instead.
Those are super cute straps!! My new years resolutions are too go to Bikram yoga regularly and organize my house (which was also last years and didn't go so well...it's not going bad so far this year though).

Last year my resolution was to "be bold". This year my resolution is to "be grateful".
Well I have not even started mine...haha I will start on Monday! Yep Monday sounds like a great day to start.... I really want to take my life back and become healthier, exercise more and of course take more pics and scrapbook more. Well I did accomplish one thing on that list. One of my resolutions is to scrapbook more, with no pressue! No pressure for my layouts/projects to look "perfect" or "publish worthy" but just to remember to have fun and do it the way I like it! Wish me luck, I really want one of those straps in a bad way!
