a little gift-a-roo

My friend, Melissa, just had a baby and when I saw these downloadable journaling cards from Creating Keepsakes I knew they would be the perfect pages to make her a thought book. (There's a cute yellow journaling card too but I forgot to get a photo.)
To make the book first download the journaling cards then print a bunch onto white cardstock, back them with patterned paper, then use a Bind-It-All & coils to make a book.
Melissa can add photos to the patterned paper & her thoughts about being a mommy-hope she likes it!

American Craft supplies was a Peachy Cheap deal (Paper, Ribbon, Stickers)

Have a fabulous weekend! :)

What a lovely gift idea! I do think you must be the most creative person I "know". Have you ever thought about designing fabric? I think you would do a fabulous job at it!

I think it's so funny that you posted the Willy Wonka Golden Ticket post awhile back and The Office "stole" your golden ticket idea for their episode last night! I laughed so hard...

This is so cute. I'm making one to journal about my baby. I was better at writing things down with my first and feel so bad about not writing anything this time. Now I don't have an excuse with this adorable notebook. Thank you for the ideas!

cool idea! thanks for letting us know about the download. I have gone to the CK site on several occasions trying to download several things and have not been able to find them. I find that the link in the magazine does not work. (one of my few complaints about CK)the paper is a PC deal today! And, I figured out that you can open then in PSE and resize the cards and pages.

Wow! You are so creative. I just love to get on the computer and read your blog. You have the neatest ideas. Keep up the good work.

p.s. you stated the other day that you ate most of the butterfly cookies that you made, I'm so glad I'm not the only one that does that.

i saw melanib's comment asking if you can resize these, and you can. open the file in photoshop (i have pse). it will prompt you as to what resolution you want to open it in, and do 300, since you will want to print it. click okay, and then resize as you would any document or photo.
and elizabeth, what size is your book btw? super cute!
