piggy paint

As seen in Creating Keepsakes magazine.
There's nothing like some quality girl talk and finger nail painting. Avery always reaches for the brightest colors-her favorite is "flirt alert." Which I hope isn't an indication of what to expect in the highly anticipated teen years.

Thanks to Kerri, one of my blog readers, sent me a link to Piggy Paint. (An all natural nail polish.) I'm excited to check it out...

One of my fave lines from Sassafras: patterned paper, cloud trim
Making Memories: Puffy Alphas
I want to get this awesome circle cutter
PS Guess what? Out of the 10 boxes sent out for Shades of Summer 1 box found it's way home. yay! I'll share pics soon. (if you have one sitting around-keep it going)
Stay tuned for details about the second round of Shades of Summer-it's gonna be fun!

I was just thinking about the shades of summer and wondering if they would ever reach me! ;) Can't wait to see photos!

Your piggy paint link isn't working. It needs to have the www.blogger.com removed from the front of it.

Anyways, thanks for the link, I'm buying some right now for my one year old daughter.

Painting nails is magical in our house. The thought of it has as much power as Santa Clause. I love it. Today, my Avery headed off to preschool with bright yellow nails and toes. She couldn't wait to show her teacher.

This is such a darling layout! Totally gonna have to scraplift this baby!! (Of course I had already seen it in CK... but love seeing it big onscreen!!)
She is such a doll! And yes, I am sure that the name of that polish is totally an indication of what is to come!! Collin can join my husband on the bandwagon of "she's not dating until she's 30!" {wink !}

Ahhh Shades of Summer. I've been wondering what ever happened to all those photos. I hope you get the other ten back. I know that I was the third person to receive my box and I won't lie, it took me a little longer than 2 days to send it back....I think it was a week and a half but I got it out there. :) I can't wait to see the update.

loved the layout in CK and love it even more here but i have a question. how do you put it in your album since the circles hang off the edge?

I have NEVER painted my little Emily's nails before (she's 2) and am going to check out Piggy Paint and also will have to paint her nails and do a layout soon (great idea!!) Love your layout!

I didn't get to be a part of the Shades of Summer and would LOVE LOVE LOVE to be in the second round!!!

Hmmm.. wonder if it was MY box... that seems like forever ago!!

thanks everyone! ♥

Julie, I actually cut the base so that with the elements hanging off the edges it still is 12"x12" that way it will fit into her album.
thanks

Are you starting a new list for SOS? Or are you using the list from last year? I never got the shades. :(

I have the EK Success circle cutter and highly recommend it. It is fab!! The only suggestion to to "tack" your paper to the glass mat before cutting your circle. Love all your layouts!! Keep them coming AND happy belated birthday.

I think I made it on the first list of SOS too, but never got it so I guess I'll still be on the lookout for them...I'm excited!

Thanks - Stacey

At the risk that Collin may hunt me down...I just bought some Piggy Paint for my 3-yr-old. One of their kits is 15% off BUT the really great part is that I found a 20% off total order coupon. I ordered the sale kit and another bottle of polish, and with the 20% off coupon, the total came to $25.99. They offer FREE shipping for orders over $25! The coupon code is bbargains20 (good through 5/31). ENJOY!!! Love the layout!

I can relate to this layout, especially this week. My daughter is going nail polish crazy this week. I let her go through my box and she picked out the brightest pinks and reds she could find. She's been carrying around a pink girly box of all nail polish, files, and nail art stickers with her everywhere this week.

still wondering what you landed up putting in the cute bags for mother's day

Just a thought, if you do anything like shades of summer again I think they should be sent north first while its still summer, then head south where its summer longer. I liked the idea though!

I love it!!! it´s so cute your daughter looking for the colour she likes :)

I have a question, how do you get the pictures so small round?
thanks
