reach out

My heart breaks for those in Haiti.
It truly is such a devastation that reminds us to reach out to others in need & keep an eternal perspective everyday. We can do something to help... CNN has a list of organizations & how we can help assist them in offering aid to those in need.

The print above is by Claudia Pearson via Poppytalk. She is donating 25% of the sales if this print to the Haiti relief fund.

Thank you for the tip. In church this morning, the minister talked about how so many people want to help, but just don't know how or who to trust as far as donations go. Your blog is seen by so many, good idea to post aid links. Lots of good willl come from this.

It is a tragedy in history, our prayers are with the people of Haiti.

Thank you for the tip Liz. I just saw another opportunity for crafters on etsy called "craft hope for Haiti". They are accepting donations of craft items to be sold with all proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders.
I can't get the links to work, but you can find them on my blog:amyemiller.typepad.com

Dear Lizzy,

https://secure3.convio.net/ldsp/site/Donation2?df_id=1861&1861.donation=form1&s_src=14703

This is the LDS link for donations, and we know it will get to the people of Haiti 100%. My brother served there, and I know that they really need as much help as possible. Thanks

So true Liz. The devastation in Haiti hurts my heart so much. I keep thinking of all the children separated from their families.

Oh I feel awful for them! I wish I could go help. My husband and I already donated but it never feels like enough.

On a completely seperate note...do you use a Canon or Nikon? I am getting a camera when I graduate in May and am completely torn.
