Never leave the house with out this pink, fuzzy blankey in my chipped nail polish grip...
If you do, be prepared for a friendly reminder and possibly not-so-friendly reminder every 5 seconds that you forgot it. "momma... bankey. momma... bankey"

absolutely adorable. my little guy loves his blankey as well... wash day is total melt down day around here!
oh no! While that is adorable, I understand your predicament. And with those beautiful blues, those words would just about break your heart. What a fabulous photo of you two.
Hi Lizzy!I looove your line, and will buy as soon as i can..I actually was wondering though...what's going on with the fabric polka dot one? I'm noticing its really hard to find... :)
What an amazing photo!!!!!
I remember those days all too well. My daughter had a blankie that went EVERYWHERE with her for the longest time. So sweet. :o)
ADORABLE photo!
My oldest had a version of that blankey...it was actually a bear. It went everywhere with us...Bear even had a seatbelt in the car. Well, sad story Bear got left at the park one day never to be found again. I SO wished I had documented pictures of Bear and my son with him. You'll be glad you have these photos one day.
Our youngest just turned 4 and she has a "bappy." It is a receiving type blanket and she has 3 or 4 {thank goodness} cause she sleeps with the corner in her mouth.n I am washing them constantly.
I actually miss those days a bit. DD had (still has, but his ranking dropped) Monkey and DS had the yellow blanket.
my kids are OBSESSED with their blankets. we call them silkies. all day long we have to find the silkies and they go everywhere with us. when i wash them the kids stand in front of the washer and cry. its kinda adorable how attached kids get to their blankies, love it.
Our blankie looks very similar! We got if for our shower and then I didn't know where to find another. I bought the exact same fabric and binding with the intent of making several smaller ones (in case we lost one, so it didn't drag on the floor when she carried it, and so we could have one in the wash while she still had one) Now her "little blankie" is the one she carries around and her "big blankie" stays in the crib. We MUST still have both of them though!
That blankie smells like death.
adorable pics! Can;t wait to see how you scrap them!
With us, it was Stripey the zebra! Cute picts!!
This post is so sweet.... :) My dd LOVES her blanky and can't go without it. She is 3. Love your Dear Lizzy line... have been creating tons of stuff with it!

Love that photo, did you take it with a timer? You have the most beautiful kids, you are blessed, love the sweater Quincey is wearing, so cute! My daughter still loves her Piggy (she's 10). Sleeps with it every night and all heck breaks loose if we can't find it...I also have a little guy who's two, love that age. These days are so precious aren't they?
I so understand your pain with forgetting the blanket at home. My girls blankey is blue and is called "B". It's been washed so many times that it's all scratchy but she adores it!
Beautiful photo! My daughter has a blanket just like that and my son has one too but it's blue. The blankets are called " kiki" over here. They still sleep with them everynight and if my daughter had her way she would take it school. She is 5 and in kinder and my son is 4 and he takes his kiki everywhere. Thanks for sharing this photo!

Awww we have the same problem - and trying to get my little Dylan (he is 2) to leave his blankey at home when we are out is so hard. But they are so cute with them.
You guys are twins!!! Miss you xoxoxo
ps had to erase the last comment was sighed in as matt sorry
OMG! My daughter has a virtually identical 'pink blankey'!!! And she too will ask after it continuously if I ever forget it! LOL! Love the photo of you two!
How on earth do you come up with such creative photography poses, angles, etc., etc.? Love everything on your blog--from music to projects to photography. You are one talented girl.
I incur serious drama if I don't bring my 3 year old's blanket in the car as well. He won't be 16 and still needing a blanket, right?!
Oh boy, this picture makes me smile!
My rule #462 is never leave the house without my 1 3/4 year old's stuffed duck! I know exactly what you are saying!
oh my. yep, we've got them too. ruby has a "bla-bla" that she can't live w/out! lucy has a "blankie" she needs to go to sleep with too! the sad day that myles left his stripped blankie on the airplane...he misses it so much!! thanks so sharing...love the phots!
This is a beautiful photograph! It melts my heart....
There is a blue Lovey in this house, a fifth member of my family.
It is a "she".
Her tag has been re-sewn several times.
Said tag is disintegrating, along with the rest of Lovey, as she is almost 5, just like my son.
Oh so cute - you reminded me of a layout I have to do...my DD calls it her "blanky" and my big boy (who is in college and would die if he knew I told this...)call it "banky". I think it's still stuffed under his bed. In fact, I'm sure that's where it is :)
Love that photo, it's so cute !
