under the weather

Feeling a bit under the weather.
This rain cloud mobile lifts my spirits. (Butter Flying etsy shop.)
So does this stop motion commercial by Amazon Kindle. The song makes me so happy.

Song: Stole My Heart by Marcus Ashley and Annie Little. You can download it for free HERE. (thanks Lynette!) The first commercial with Annie Little and the song Fly Me Away is cute too. I added that song to my playlist if you wanna take a listen.

Here's another video with the lead singer of A Fine Frenzy, Alison Sudol. Directed by the same talented folks Ithyle Griffiths & Angela Kohler.
Happy Wednesday!

My prescription for fighting the blues is a cup of hot chocolate and a bowl of popcorn. That always helps me. Hope your day is looking brighter!

I LOVE these Amazon commercials, too. I've been meaning to track down the artist, so thanks for doing the work for me! I have "discovered" so much amazing music from your blog! Thank you for constantly inspring me with your creative and colorful scrapbook pages, you awesome sense of fashion, and your great taste in music. Hope you feel better soon!

PS Thanks Lynette- I just downloaded "Stole My Heart" free from Amazon! Can't beat free!

I was feeling a bit under the weather this morning too...then I loaded my two year old up in our car & headed for a quick trip to Archivers. I came home with each of the Dear Lizzy Fabric Papers...I got happier. :) Feel sunny again soon!

You do know how to pick the music! You're my main source for these goodies. Pandora doesn't hold a candle to Dear Lizzy!

I have a fun little story to share with you. I put your book, 52 More Scrapbooking Challenges, on my Christmas list. Well, Christmas came and I didn't get it. So I was thinking I would wait to ask for it again for my birthday. I happen to be visiting my parents for spring break this week, and we got a knock on the door this afternoon. It was a lady who lives up the hill from my parents. She has been out of town since October and found a package to my dad on her doorstep. She thought she better deliver it today since she wasn't sure how long it had been sitting there. Well, we opened it up and guess what it was? Your book! Yay! I'm looking forward to reading it cover to cover tonight. Thank you for all the inspiration!

Enjoy Lizzy! You make my world happy...I've been enjoying your new book during my spring break!! Thank you!
(PS- I think you should add umbrellas to your new line... I just saw Mary Poppins and I think they are so cute!)
