bits of the weekend

Kinda funny to be putting on gloves and winter coats with Easter dresses on Sunday... but what else do we expect with the crazy weather we've had lately? It's snowing right now. where are you spring?
This weekend was fun and busy... here are a few of my favorite shots.

Lots of cuddling while listening to conference. We enjoyed having semi-annual General Conference fall on Easter Sunday this year. The messages were inspiring and talked a lot about parenting and families which was a good reminder to me to keep an eternal perspective on what's truly important while going through my day to days.
Thanks to Allison and KC... Avery loves the wind-up chick.

At the conference center in Salt Lake on Sunday morning.

Spent lots of time with people we love. Meet the Brown/Smith/Miles/Kartchner clan. Don't ask me what Collin is doing in the photo?
Hope you had a charming Easter weekend!

Oh, fun! Great photos, too - it looks like you had a cute weekend (even though there was snow!!). The eggs in the fluffy white stuff is just too funny! :)

Thankfully we've been snow free for more than a month now - and I live in Canada! I remember last year was warmer, (I was wearing capris and sunning myself in my parents backyard), but there were still hints of snow. You have the cutest family!

Super cute! Very nice that you got to go to conference. there were a lot of talks about family weren't there? I noticed that there were also a lot on enduring through trials. I found it interesting that one of the last speakers said that there were no assignments for the talks, they were all inspired but somehow all intertwine beautifully!

Where oh where did you get the pillows from? LOOOOOOOOOOOOve them!!!! Please let me know.
Love the easter eggs in snow. We've been blessed and now tormented by super unseasonal Philadelphia Easter. Since middle of last week it's been climbing up in the 80's, Easter hasn't been that summery in like 5 years and today were supposed to hit 90. Yeah, right, 90 in the first week of April in Philadelphia. Crazy weather for sure. Record snow in February, record rain in March & now record heat in April. Go figure!!!
Love the family photo.

WOW!! Easter eggs in the snow??? Even in my Canadian town that hasn't been seen. It's still a beautiful site though. Here in Toronto we were in my backyard in bikini tops, flip flops and singin' and playin' music while catching some blissful rays. Gorgeous

Love the pics, your family one is great! Easter eggs in the snow was cute too. Just to let you know, your blog has inspired me to try one of my own, it's still a work in progress, but I have a few pictures and scrap pages on there. It'll be nice for far away family to keep connected with me and my family. Check it out if you get the chance, laurielariviere.blogspot.com
Your girls are adorable, glad you had a great Easter despite the snow.

So CUTE to see all the girls in your family photo in dresses. Around here people just don't get dressed up anymore :)

Love your work and I REALLY want to attend the next SPARK event... Maybe you could have one on the east coast.

Such a stylish crew!

Glad Easter was memorable, in spite of (or maybe because of?) the snow.

Love the photos of the eggs in the snow. You are too clever.

conference was amazing! How lucky that you got to be there. I love Avery's dress. When I say it in Target I told my husband I wished it was in my size.
