eggstra cute

Such a sweet idea for an Easter message inside a hollowed out egg shell. Hoping to make some for my mom and sisters... but my to-do list this weekend is loooong. Here's a picture tutorial via Poppytalk from Present & Correct.

Have a Good Friday! What are your weekend plans?

Very cute Easter egg craft!! I wish I could get to it, but I'm having my family over on Sunday, which means lots of cleaning and cooking tomorrow....

I wonder how they get the egg nice and clean on the inside. I'm looking forward to this weekend. Family movie and pizza nite tonight. Easter musical tomorrow and church on Sunday morning. Followed by a big family get together and egg-hunt!

LOVE LOVE this idea! I made hollowed eggs with my little guy tonight, but never considered hiding a message inside. Maybe I'll try that with a note from the Bunny!

I also have a Dear Lizzy question for you: Where do you discover your fabulous music? It seems you're always on the cutting edge... (p.s. I steal from your playlist CONSTANTLY)

Hi Lizzy:

I finally bought your book and read it from cover to cover twice this week. I love it!!!

You are so beautiful, inside and out and very talented.

Thanks for being my inspiration. You may visit my blog if you ever get the chance at www.definatelydebi.blogspot.com

You'll notice the music is familiar!

If I got that egg, I don't think I'd be able to crack it - it's just too cute. Great idea.

Our weekend plans involved camping (we picked up our new travel trailer on Thursday and headed out), got back home last night; today involves me having brunch with the in-laws, and Justin working.

Easter times two--with Nathan's family yesterday and mine today. What a wonderful weekend--and the weather was perfect.

(weather on Easter--heck, any day for that matter--is always a wild card here in Missouri)

Pretty post!
