eye candy

Lately I've been working on the next Dear Lizzy lines, a video tutorial today for the fabric flowers, Spark, and designing classes to teach. While browsing online for inspiration...
here are some of the eye candy photos that are inspiring me lately.
This darling anniversary party in an orange orchard. Counting down the days until I'll be in Newport Beach for Reflections. I'll have to sneak away to my grandparents and pick some oranges from their tree. I hope they're in season now...

Anticipating spring!! Jcrew
The other day we were planning Spark at Rhonna's house and I love her accent chalkboard wall that she decorates for every holiday. Her spring mix of branches, banners and birds not to mention her chalk doodles is fabulous.
I've had this in my inspiration folder for awhile. I love the message. (Etsy)

Wish this was the beautiful scene of our laundry. I might actually want to conquer the perpetuating piles if this was the case.
These are definitely drool worthy. Yes, I'm inspired by colorful sweets. Mmmmmm macaroons.
Have a happy day! What's inspiring you lately?

Wonderful inspiration!

Did you know that the girl who did that lovely anniversary party lives in San Diego? She's amazing! I bet you two would get along wonderfully, between how creative both of you are!

Her name is Heather Balliet, just in case:) She's my sister-in-law's sister.

Hi Liz- I love all of the pics. Especially the cookies and the beautiful table setting. What's been inspiring me lately is anything pink and ruffles. Lots and lots of ruffles! Happy Thursday!

I am currently looking for ideas to redecorate our bathroom. It is used by the kids mostly and when we have guests in our home. It is yellow and blue rubber duckies right now. After searching the web I am loving Owl Sky by DwellStudio...cute owls and trees.

I am SO excited that you will be in Newport Beach in a few weeks! I live in San Diego, and just registered for the Reflections event after reading about it from your link. I can't wait to meet you and take your class! Your scrapbook pages are a constant inspiration for me, and I turn to them when I get stuck on a page, and I am always inspired! The weather is great right now down here- way better than that freezing snow!

The anniversary table reminds me of the Mad Hatter's tea party in the new Alice in Wonderland. The movie is sooo colorful - definitely inspirational, especially the wardrobe changes!

What's inspiring me other than YOU!? I have to agree with Ashley's comment...the new Tim Burton version of Alice in Wonderland...stunning visuals and wardrobe and the COLOR! Color...love it, need it! (storyline disappointed me though and I LOVE Alice in Wonderland). Gosh! You posted such beautiful images! I love The Secret Garden. Gotta love flowers! Even though the rose is my fav, I also adore peonies! A perfectly captured peony is hard to come across in scrapbooking which stinks. I also love the way gathered chiffon or satin looks and layered tulle. Crepe paper, vintage is beautiful, books, animals.

P.S. also love being inspired by trees and leaves...especially flowering trees (and shrubs) like the bridal wreath spirea and forsythia are so beautiful. Water and, of course, food.
