big plans

I have big plans for this lovely weekend-- I want to make something pretty. For fun. With lots of textures and layers. I started this fabric & felt album last weekend so I hope to finish that up.

I also hope to work on my hula hoop skills. My little brother got me a hula hoop for my birthday. Since I haven't hula hooped since the 5th grade I definitely need to perfect it...

Plan this little girl's circus/dumbo themed birthday party...
Go on a date with this silly boy... (I'm glad you enjoyed his video! Some of you said you were laughing to tears-welcome to my life.)

I also plan to scrap with some Dear Lizzy... Here's a really fun offer just for you!

At BlueMoonScrapbooking we carry the best scrapbooking companies for you to capture your memories and let your creative side take over.
Have we got a DEAL for you - shop with BlueMoon and spend $65.00 or more - You'll get not only FREE shipping in the US but also this totally FUN Dear Lizzy Kit $25.00 retail, will ship with your goodies.

From your tweet the other night, I just have to know...where can you get good mango and sticky rice in utah county? I have been on the hunt forever!

T,
Our favorite Thai Restaurant is Thai Ruby in Provo... order C5 for sure and we also like SF7.
Then get the mango and sticky rice.

We've ate at Thai Chili Gardens in Orem and Thai Village in American Fork too but Thai Ruby is our ultimate favorite. I must go there this weekend!

Sounds like a fun weekend! I have never had Thai, and I'm not sure how far I would have to drive in WI to find one!! I live in the middle of know where! :)

Sounds like a great way to spend a rainy weekend!
My little girl had a circus for the last day of preschool, the teachers had lots of great ideas! My favorite was red streamers tied on the top of a hula hoop to make it look like they were jumping through a ring of fire. You already have the hula hoop!

I just LOVE scrapbooking, missing it so much since lately I just haven't been able to focus when I sit down to scrap! I am in a "scrapper's block" right now!! it's a real bummer! Maybe I need to head to ARchivers and get some "DEAR LIZZY" this weekend!
My good friend is coming to visit, another friend and I are going to some garage sales, hoping I can scrapbook, my daughter wants to go on a bike ride, and hopefully have coffee and chill with my hubs since I haven't seen him much these last 5 months!!!
have a fabulous weekend!!!!!!

My friend owns a clothing resale shop & has lots of vintage stuff. She got a photographer to come over & take about 900 photographs of our group of friends wearing clothes from the resale shop. It was fun, Fun, FUN, FuN, fUn!!! And the photographer asked me to do some modeling for her because she has some ideas & needed a red head & I fit her bill. Made me feel beautiful & lifted my spirit after a long & hard week. Plus, I'm trying to refine my hoopdancing skills. Check out www.hoopnotica.com or www.hoopgirl.com There are a few others but they sell hoops that are bigger, have a little more weight to them & are easier to learn to keep up for a longer period of time. And their DVD's are great & can teach you how to hoopdance NOT just hula-hoop. It can be so much fun & I'm not even a dancer & I have my hips moving. I'm also trying to learn a new hoopdancing trick before the weekend is over & helping my MIL pack up her stuff for storage so her apt can be fixed from the small kitchen fire she had last week. Lots to get done so I better get some sleep.

I am probably one of the youngest who reads your blog... a would be senior in highschool, but in college a year early. I have Prom tonight, Cedar Point Sunday, and then a dress rehearsal for a dance recital on Monday. In the meantime, I have to finish making 14 handmade headbands with fabric flowers matching the costumes of one of the dance classes I teach!! It should be fun and interesting to master it all!

Have a great weekend!

this weekend we found out that the baby negioatations can come to a halt because we are pregnant LOL we were trying not to have a baby just yet - later in the year would have been a little better for us - but the big man in the sky had other plans for us :) so now i get to be reminded 24/7 of how it feels to be nauseous :) hope you are getting to the end of that stage cuz it is THE worst!

Sounds like you will be busy, busy! I am hoping to be going into labor as baby #4 is due on Monday. No such luck yet! I have always been overdue so I'm not holding my breath. In the meantime, we're trying to spend some fun time with the 3 girls prior to baby. We had a picnic lunch at the park today, followed by some fishing (no bites), then took them to see Shrek. Congrats on baby #3. 3 girls would be awesome!!! ;-) Also, thinking that it was about a year ago we met at CKU in Nashville. And can you believe the flooding there now? Have you seen any of the pics?

Your Hubby is the best! my hubby wouldn't be caught dead doing that video! Although I am sure he is thinking exactly what Colin was saying!

My weekend consisted of tending grandkids, delivering one to her mom in Twin Falls (a 6 hour drive for us) and church. LOVED Collin's video! Would hula-hooping make the little one dizzy?

Holly :) said...

I spent time with my Momma last night, and we laughed ourselves silly. Today I scrapped with my bestie and transformed a paint can into a lovely fairy bucket with buttons, flowers, and dragonflies. I used this great fairy paper that I'm sadly sure is not available anymore but to just sit and create was wonderful!

I'm very glad Collin decided to share laughter, cause his birthday hi-jack might have cause some damp eyes. I'm sure they were just glistening or something...I wasn't teary. But if I was, it was because it reminded me to keep the faith that I'll be sent a super guy someday. I truly believe there is a special somebunny for everybunny, but was beginning to lose that. So, thank you. :D Blessings to y'all!

That video was hilarious!!! "Robert Pattin(son) himself" and "ok weekly" cracked me up! Off to see if there are more funny videos! I had to make my husband watch that since we both like twlight but also make fun of it.
