happy weekend

Today is the most gorgeous day! Not to mention the first day I woke up with only a slight feeling of morning sickness. I couldn't ask for more perfect timing.
Surprisingly, I haven't shared with you my recent pregnancy obsession--food and smells. Be grateful for that. ;) But I will tell you these bowls of fruity goodness are heavenly.

I'm enjoying the recent special issue, Paper Palooza, from Creating Keepsakes magazine. The page above I designed for the patterned paper section and it was fun to create a couple more in there as well.
A discount coupon code to get 20% off the issue in our store between May 17-31 is TIPS-BLOG.

A few items of business:

***I'm so excited to launch 2010 Shades of Summer next week so think if that's something you wanna do while I think about stricter rules to keep the shades moving so everyone gets a chance. Here's the last pics I received from Pennsylvania, Ireland & Ohio.

****Lastly, Blue Moon has a great selection of my Dear Lizzy line in stock if you're feeling crafty.

This week flew by... happy weekend!

Yes, I can't wait for Shades of Summer. I never got them last year. I was so bummed out. So that would be cool if you have stricter rules.

Honestly Elizabeth, I am in love with the photography on your blog. You really capture the sweet & simple moments life has to offer. Congrats on your pregnancy - babies are such wonderful little things :D

Here's another SOS - loser, hehe I've always got on your blog just as you filled up. I have one suggestion though, you should send them north first, cuz I remember the 1st year they went south and the northern people got them by the time there was snow on the ground already.

I hope to included this year (signed up last year and don't know if they just never made it to me or wasn't included. Hope so this year.)

This is big for me because I never, EVER allow pictures taken of me let alone shown on a blog - so this shades is to force me to over come that and embrace myself to be in pictures again. Just wanted you to know why some really want to particpate in the shades of summer.

Thanks for doing this. Will keep a watch!

I've been lucky enough to have been in the last two (and yes, I always kept it moving!). I was first both times so I never got to see anyone else's work. It's a bummer that not everyone on the list got their chance.:(
