boy or girl

Tomorrow (11 hours 34 minutes to be exact) we'll find out whether they'll be more twirling & dress up around the house or snails & puppy dog tails.
It would be fun to wait & find out when the baby's born, but you're talking to the girl who still peeks at her Christmas presents. So, that would be complete torture for me. It drives me crazy when other people don't find out-let alone myself. With all this excitement and anticipation it kinda feels like Christmas Eve.
Since my motherly intuition on this subject is only a hunch... I've asked the family to weigh in their thoughts-hoping they'll have some flash of inspiration.
Big sis says that it'll be a boy about 75% of the many times I've asked her.
Little sis (who loves saying silly things just to make you laugh) has had many different answers... but I'm pretty sure there isn't a baba, doggie or cake in my tummy. Today she did say boy but that was after she heard Big Sis' answer. Then Big sis changed her answer to a girl. Could you imagine another 5 months of these flip-flop answers?I'm counting on the trained professional tomorrow. ;)

Hmmmmm... what will it be?

Collin kinda thinks it's a girl leading him to twitter this:
Find out the gender of kid #3 on Monday. So far, 2 girls. Weekend plan: play football while blowing stuff up. Convince God to send a boy.
Yes. A boy would be fun, but believe me, we wouldn't complain at all if God sent us another one of these darlings.

Google the chinese gender chart! It is based on your age and month of conception and it is freakishly accurate!

Hi Liz, any sickness or anything different this time. With my first 3 boys and I had a super easy pregnancy with no sickness. With my baby girl, it was totally different and I was so sick. So i would bet you are having a boy if you were not sick in your first months. Can you post the link to your mini album( 2 previous post; pregnancy and CK), I would love to see the other pages. Tks!

Oh I was the third girl, which wasn't a boy ;-) So my Dad was in trouble with 3 girls and his wife (especially when we grow older, between 13 and 18), but he loves all of us! And now he had 3 sons-in-law and they play football, go fishing, do some woodwork... I hope God sent you a boy!

I'm hoping for a boy so we can see more boyish layouts!!! And maybe some boy paper lines.

But I think it is another girl.

Regardless.....best wishes to you all!!!!

That's so exciting. Can't wait to hear if it's a boy or girl. I think another girl would be very cool. I had to find out what I was having too & I hate when other people don't find out. That drives me crazy.

Emily said...

I hope you have a boy...selfish reasons...because I love your scrapbook pages, but I have only boys, and I want to see what you would do for little boy pages.
Oh, and I hope for Collin's sake it's a boy...cuz I know how much I really wanted a girlie, but never got one...
Good luck!

Can't wait to find out! I think a boy after 2 girls is the way to go (wink, wink)...we are loving our little man!

Also, all the people I know that have 2 girls are expecting or just had a little boy...so Collin might be blowing up stuff with his boy sooner than he thinks!

Goodluck!

oh what fun!! I can't wait to hear what you are having! Having one of each myself, either is a blessing and such fun! Boys are wonderful in their own right, and there is something wonderful about the son/mother relationship! But I am a sucker too for my little girl...either way, you love your child hey! All the best!

Jena said...

How fun! We never found out with all 4 of our kids and yes, I am still the little girl that likes to peek at my Christmas presents ;-P but for some reason this was a surprise I could handle! We had 3 girls and then a little boy - when I was pregnant with him, #3 who was less than 2 years old, was the only one who insisted it was a boy all along, and she was right!

Good luck to all of you!

How exciting!!!! My little sister is pregnant with #2 and we have to wait until AUGUST to find out boy/girl. Hope you get a good peek today!!

Can't wait to read what it is!!! To bad its not a cake though! That would be fun! :-) I bet your girls are excited to find out if they will get another sister or a brother!

Stef said...

Can't wait to hear! Love the pettiskirts on the girls and love their guesses on tummy contents! Enjoy today!!

I still peek at my Christmas presents, too. My husband insisted that we not find out about number three, but I was pretty proud of myself that I held out one whole night without opening the sealed envelope. I was awake THE WHOLE NIGHT - I sneaked as soon as he left for work the next day, confirmed I was going to have a third girl, and then didn't tell a soul the whole pregnancy. Glad Colin is on the same page as you.

So exciting!!! Can't wait to hear what you're having! I found out with both of my girls...my excuse...reasoning is with the modern technology now-a-days why not found out what the sex is. I'm glad we did it...glad my sister just did it...I'm glad you are, too. I find it annoying when people say, "We're gonna wait for the surprise." My husband and I say whatever...it was still a surprise to us when we did the ultrasounds in the doctors office. What's the big dif?! Hahaha! Whatever the sex is...blessings to you, your family, and cheers to a healthy newborn! Have a great day! P.S. Sweet pics!

Little did I know(or believe at the time) sonograms and brains scans are VERY different and take diff training to read! Ihope babe is in right position for you!

I didn't find out and loved the surprise! I dreamed a few times that baby was a girl. One day, she even "told" me she would have blue eyes! Now, hubby and I both have brown eyes so chances were slim (his mom and my grandpa have blue eyes). Well... We did have a girl and she does have blue eyes. She's 5. months old and so far they haven't changed! Enjoy!

God sent us a third boy (due any day now) and we didn't complainb at all. Even if it's true that changing it up would have been interesting :)
