Lone Star

I taught at a store in Texas over the weekend. It was such a quick trip but really fun. Thanks Misty for the picture with some of the students. These ladies were a treat and I loved getting to know many of them.

The trip started out kinda crazy. I guess Houston didn't like me very much and everything was going wrong. Including, spending a good amount of time on the carpet by a power outlet with my phone at thrifty car rental. But I proved myself by bringing the perfect PJs for the occasion and I could tell by the belgium waffles the next morning that Houston decided I wasn't so bad. We are now great buddies.

Bother! I moved to Houston in March (from your neighborhood)! I didn't know you were coming here. If you were here at the end of the week, at least you got some cooler weather in the mornings! It was almost as good as waking up to snow in Provo!

I took your class, and I loved it. Thanks so much! That night, after I put my kiddos to bed, I used the scraps left over from class to make another mini album. Love it! Also, thanks for all the goodies we got in the kit. Yowza! I was thoroughly impressed! Please keep coming up with new Lizzy lines of product:)

Mmm waffles...I hope they were as good as they look :D

p.s. your hair looks darling. My hair doesn't like curls which is a shame.

Glad Texas ended up going well for you.

Those waffles are tossing on a craving. Darn. :-)
