pay no attention to me... just rambling

I've started this blog post several times all rambling on into different directions. Then I highlight it and click delete. Although it was good therapy for me, here I am still with nothing written in this post for you to read. Hmmmm, let's see...
I guess I could tell you how I got sucked into watching this season of Bachelor. I've never watched the show before but I got pulled into the drama.

Or I could tell you how I'm proud of myself lately for making homemade rolls and bread and a braided pastry. I am still learning and I'm just happy the stuff is edible. haha. But tonight I made a braided bread with creamy chicken/broccoli inside. How domestic!

Or how I'm happy I just found out I can change the settings on my macbook to just tap the trackpad instead of clicking. What in the world? My lazy self loves this!

Or my favorite moment with Collin today, he was dancing for a second while I was intensely working on a minibook. He asks, "Do you wanna know why I'm so perky?"
"Uh, why?"
"Because I just fixed the garbage disposal." His celebrating continued... Laughing cause I've never heard him say the word: perky.

Or how I have listened to this talk by Dieter Uchtdorf many times and it really speaks to me. He says, "There is a beauty and clarity that comes from simplicity."

Or I could tell you how I spent today working on a mini album using MME that I'm teaching in Paris, France. Yeah, I just pinched myself and I'm not dreaming.

Or I could tell you how I was up at 4 am with Lola and despite my pounding, tired headache I honestly love every second with her. Oh my goodness-I cannot get enough of this baby!
I know I have been selfish about sharing photos. Please forgive me for keeping those cheeks and all those rolls to myself.
Where has the week gone? Happy Friday!

Above mini album uses all My Mind's Eye Lost & Found line. It's really a beautiful line.

Every time you post a picture of Lola I catch myself humming
"She's got the cutest little baby face" . All of your daughters are adorable and have the most expressive faces. I wonder where on earth they got it? HaHa!
I immediately thought of Madagascar 2 "Move it, move it" dancing when you described Collin getting "perky" over his completed home repairs. Love my hubby but definitely have a crush on yours.

Love how you casually mention Paris, France in the post. Hope you can get a sitter and take Collin with you. Ya'll should be there together. Can't wait to see the pictures.

I'd say you've had a wonderful week.

Elizabeth, I tried the link to listen to the talk but it wouldn't work. I have a Pampered Chef "braided wreath" recipe I will email you. My family (hearts) it! Last week I listened to my hubby singing along to old christian rock music as he washed the dishes and it made me smile and my heart melt at the same time.

I enjoyed reading your ramblings!
What is it with that third baby? Mine is 6 months and I can't get enough either. Not that I could with my other two, but I feel like now that they are older I appreciate my baby's innocence (and her rolls!) and I don't want it to go away!

Ooh, thank you for the delicious Lola picture! She is just too cute! It's a good thing I don't know where you live because I'd have to come steal her. :)

And that picture of Lola ... WOW!!! What are those cheeks?!

I too got sucked into the Bachelor after a few seasons back saying I would never ever watch it again...sigh.

I for one am glad that you are being "selfish" and sharing pictures of Lola...haha you silly. Gosh I wanna kiss those cute cheeks. Oh yeah, but we have never met so that might sound perky weird, snicker:)

This is completely unrelated to your post but it is a question I MUST ask. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the dress that you wore in the creating keepsakes january 2008 issue. If I am correct it made with a textile created by the flower Hmong people in Asia. I have seen handbags and baby carriers made with this fabric but NEVER a dress. Where on earth did you buy it? Please don't tell me you bought it from the mountains in Sapa. Your blog is still my all time favorite and I look forward to each and every post. Thank you for the weekly inspiration and for being the amazing woman that you are. Keep shining!

Please, oh please let me know how to change the mouse pad settings to "tap" instead of "click!" I just got my first MacBook last week and the clicking is the only thing I don't like about it.

Your braided bread recipe sounds amazing! Yum!

Wow, Lola's getting so big! Where does the time go?
