faking spring

March is definitely coming in like a lion... it's even been snowing, yes snowing, the last couple days. That white stuff that you dream of at Christmas time and despise at springtime.
It is basically still winter with the occasional tease of sunshine. When there is a break in the clouds we run to the park as fast as we can, like caged lions.

Ruche, one of my favorite places to shop, gave me a preview of their spring look book and asked me to choose one of my favorite pieces. I chose the navy trench-style jacket.
Looking forward to spring... are you?
Navy Trench, Seersucker blouse underneath: Ruche
Watch: Fossil
Photos by Collin, of course.

Beautiful (as always). One of the sunflares in the top photo on the bottom left kind of looks like a hear. Love that! And I am really ready for spring to come, now with it being light after I get home from work!

UGH!!! Now look what you've made me do...I just went and bought that jacket (and a couple of tops...and a necklace...or 2);)

You look so amazing! I wish we could be outside without our parkas!! (Wait, did I say "parkas?" Who says that???)

oh spring, how i longeth for you!! no faking here though.. it's cold and we got plenty of snow in the forecast! :(

So cute! But Ruche is NOT true to size. In fact a lot of their sizes run in "misses" (so they are super small...even the "large" size was a women's extra small). Just beware when ordering, they are not clear and consistent on their sizing. Kinda frustrating for women with CURVES!

So adorable and such a gorgeous photo. They should totally use this on their website. :) I'm ready for spring as well - we had 70 degree temps a few days ago and now we are back in the 40's. Crazy Indiana weather. At least the daffodils have bloomed!

Great photos Collin! Liz I don't see your name listed on the Spark page - are you still going to be part of it or do you have something else up your sleeve for this year?

If you are wondering how I took these photos, here's the secret. You point your camera at the model, and then there's this trigger button on top of the camera near your right index finger. Push that button.

Please donate $10 to my Paypal account if you have found this tutorial helpful.

Thank you.

Ruche has some really awesome pieces. But they keep on raising their prices! I guess that's what happens when good shops are discovered. And yay for free clothes!

I have fallen in love with everything at Ruche!! There are several tops I am itching to order but I'm curious how there sizes run. In a top do you usually order a SM? What about dresses? Thanks for the help, i'm super excited to get my order going!

I am curious about sizing too. I wear 4 & 6 at loft. I am thinking I am a medium in a dress I am watching but guess I will have to order to find out.
Such cute, feminine clothes!
