So thrilled to launch our next online workshop for Something Splendid, these adorable Felt Cupcakes!My daughters ripped open a present from their Aunt Charity a few months ago including some felt cupcakes. They are perfect for their tea parties and their play kitchen. Needless to say, they love them! Since then I've had so much fun making more and experimenting with yummy felt frostings. I thought this would make a fun class! There are 4 different cupcakes you will learn how to sew, and as always, the kit will include everything you need to make them at home. Including a pattern, felt, embroidery thread, needle, HD video tutorials. Also, it's a great gift idea or summer craft project.

I woke my house with my happy squeal when I saw this class up for grabs on the something splendid site!!! I'm uber excited to makes these for me, I mean, my daughter....yeah that's it...

I have never purchased a class & am wondering if you have to "attend" the video at 10 am on the 20th or if the video files just get sent to you. I will be on vacation so was hoping the files get sent to you. :)

NOpe, you don't need to be there at 10 am... It is self paced so you can take your time and the lessons will be up for a few months after the class so you can do them when it is convenient for you.

The felt cupcakes are adorable - beautifully executed!
Yesterday The Guardian (www.guardian.co.uk) ran a cute story likening bunting to cupcakes, "old-fashioned wholesomeness" and that bunting has supplanted cupcakes (!) as the new "cute" and, in deed, cupcakes were history.
Bunting became widespread in the UK with the recent Royal Wedding. In this country, I think cupcakes are holding steady and bunting hasn't peaked.
This Cupcakes also make a wonderful gift for your daughter, niece, sister, mom, or girl friend!
Hi, I was wondering if you could let us know what we;ll need for class. As i live in Australia i didn't purchase my class with the kit - not sure if it would arrive in time. I'm super excited - but want to be ready.
