In the entry way of our home I've begun a collection of random hooks. So far their only job was holding umbrellas but after seeing a darling banner my friend
Annie made from
Instax I dressed the hooks up with a festy fall banner.
It includes handcut leaves from paper, felt, fabric and paper then sewed through them along with vintage flashcards &
Instax. The medallion was made from my Free People catalog and vintage book paper.
I took the photos with the Instax adapter/filter set. It includes filters to add cool effects to your photos. How cheesy and awesome are the multiple images filters? Makes me laugh!

going on my Christmas List :)
Looks great =)
I would die for an instax camera!!
I Love it! You make me want to have an Instax too :p
Where do you buy the film for your Instax? I wasn't sure if you knew somewhere to get it at a more affordable price. You use so many of them and they always look great. I am hesitant to take some more candid shots because the film is so pricey...
The link to "Annie's" blog does not seem to be working . . . blogger says that blog does not exist??
Oh that is cool. I had no idea you could get filters for the Instax. You are just so clever!!
What a great idea, e. Love this!!!!
So I was looking on amazon and couldn't find any of the filters. I love the look of them. Can you tell me where to look for them? Thanks.
I just purchased these from B&H and I also found them available at Urban Outfitters.
Here's the link to the B&H ones...

Oh, too cute! So fun! I love Fall.
My mother in law surprised me with an Instax a couple of months ago - after she saw me looking at all your pictures! I had no idea there was a filter set!
Sometime in the (pretty please) near future will you do a little blog post with any tips and tricks you've learned while playing with your Instax? I would be forever in your debt!
Oh I love it! of course yours is like a bazillion times cuter than mine. Love the multi-head pictures, so funny!
love this idea!
Instax is going on my Christmas list too!! Love those Amy Tangerine stickers, just used them in a mini last night!
So, it looks like you use the mini, our do you use the wide Instax? Still agonizing over which one to get...
Love this project! So glad you showed us.
I love how cute this is! We make banners for birthdays and holidays all the time at our house, but I never thought to add pics. I love your idea and can't wait to give it a try. Thanks!

My Instax has been sitting for a while now due to the Instagram app...but this has inspired me to pull it out again! Thanks!
I have an instax and so need to get a filter set, love them!
Hello Lizzy. I just would like to let you know that you inspire me. Since following your blog I have begun to see things in new ways. For example: I recently had been searching fruitlessly for a case or something to protect my earphones for my iPhone. I decided I'd make one myself using a ribbon bobbin ($0.70) and decorate it with scrapbook supplies (paper, ribbon, etc). Also, I wanted a new wallet, but couldn't find one that I liked that I could justify spending lots of money on. I remembered a beautiful japanese-style jewelry case that my mom had for about 20 years but never used (she rarely throws anything out), so I decided to use that for my new wallet. I just would like to thank you for sharing your creativity and sense of humour (I'm Canadian; that's how we spell humour!). Love ya! Marika. P.S. If you'd like to see my bobbin earphone case or the jewelry case, there are photos on my blog at http://marikasmith.wordpress.com/.
