Yesterday was one of those days where I had to get out of the house and just do something, or better yet, do nothing! So I jumped in my car with the sunroof open, windows down, music playing, and me singing way too loud-especially since I have a horrible voice! I was headed for Target but ended up at Roberts. I didn't have a lot of time because I had to get back for The Office premiere so I grabbed some supplies and then took off for home. :) 42 minutes was all I needed to unwind and recharge! I was actually pretty proud of myself because I am the slowest scrapbooker and I made this page so fast! Fast enough that Collin was working on the computer, turned around to my desk & said, "Did you just do that?" Yep.
It's easy when you have eye candy to play with like these yummy papers & some cute journaling spots.

My baby brother (age 29) just graduated TODAY from the Marine Security Guard, one of the toughest Marine programs.

Okay, well my random fact is this: I look like totally boring suburban wife and mommy - and most of my friends have no clue that before I got married I traveled the world, dove most of the major reef systems in the world, hiked through fire ant and spider infested rain forest to find a skull cave (trophy room for cannibalistic societies) in New Guinea, was held at gunpoint by honduran police (while my then boyfriend decided if I was worth the $20 extra dollars in bribe money - hah-hah), have gotten beat up in an anti-american riot in the Dominican Republic, have been to an actual cock fight (not pleasant), hiked through the forgotten ruins in Copan and of all these crazy adventures (and hundreds I don't have the space to write about), the most random one of them all - is that my favorite thing to do in all these travels has been to crawl up on the bow of the boat, pump up Green Day in my headphones (yes, I'm a child of the 90's) and watch the sunset over the water.

It's random, but true: I am a certified scuba diver. I once was 80 feet down at the edge of an abyss. I was literally floating at the ocean floor....only there was nothing but black in the hole in front of me - for as far out in front of me as I could see, too. Freaky, but cool. (for the record, I would NOT actually swim out OVER the hole. heh. too chicken.)

Random fact about me...I LOVE to organize things. I actually have my closet and well all of my husbands and my 3 kids' closet stuff organized as well. My friend was watching my kids for me while I ran an errand & I found out later they had been talking about a rainbow of colors & she blurted out, it looks like my closet! LOL my friends just laughed & said they weren't surprised. In fact, I just helped my parents declutter their bedroom & walk in closet & I did the same thing to their closet. My dad just laughed & went with it since it was all clean he was happy. Man, I should take some pics of the closets....it might be one of my obsessions haha.

Wow - I love your blog AND Glitz stuff! So here is my random fact: I am a pretty shy person. Always have been and probably always will be. Being shy means some people think I am not friendly - but it isn't lack of friendliness - just the inability to be outgoing!

I just had my last baby and I have been trying to figure out how I can get back to the day she was born! Oh, that is such an exciting day when you meet your babies for the 1st time!

This is completely random, but fresh in my mind, so................
Last night, Friday, I went to see Celine Dion and my friend got us sixth row tickets. There was a side stage that came right next to our seats, and I could practically reach out and touch Celine; I was so close, I could see the goosebumps on her arms (it was cold in the concert hall)! = ) She was amazing; I can barely talk today, I screamed so loud! = )
So, there's my completely random thought for the day! = )

Random fact about me: As a preteen I was obsessed with Michael Jackson. My bedroom walls were adorned with his photos, I even had a wood plaque with his picture on it -- and, YES, I had a glittery MJ glove, which I wore occasionally! :)

You know those smells that when you smell them, they remind you of something you love? My random fact is that I love the smell of skunks. When I was little my grandma lived in the country and the dog would always come home smelling like skunks because it would get sprayed. So I guess when I smell a skunk...I think of...my grandma. I probably shouldn't tell her that though.

Woozers! Are we scrapbookers crazy ladies or what? You say "giveaway" and we flock in droves! My random factoid: I love it when newborns have those explosive poops- the kind you use your sense of hearing to detect instead of your sense of smell. It is such a short little phase, only the first few weeks, but I love it. It is like "BAM" and then "AHHH". After that phase, I don't love the poopies so much, but those explosive ones are fascinating to me. I guess I am easily fascinated?
I have to put my left shoe on first. Always... no exceptions!
