some pages and late night ramblings

Just finishing up packing for CHA. I am such a last minute packer. I know everything I need to bring but I am always up late the night before getting it all together. I am getting better though; I used to pack my whole closet because who knows what mood you will be in and what you want to wear.

Here are some fun pages I did this month for Poppy Ink kit company. You know I love fun, bright colors especially on a dreary winter day! And to rub it in Collin calls me today from the beach with his feet in the Carribean sand. He also is convinced that we need to move to Florida. He doesn't have to ask me twice, anything to get me out of this freezing weather. Still missing him btw!
And I recently signed up for Good Reads because my cute sis Emily sent me a link to join. It's a fun, online community where you can share your favorite books with friends. I am excited because I am always looking for a good book to dive into. Check it out and let me know your favorite paperback.

Goodnight and ta ta for now! (I need a cool sign off-like Kartchner out!) okay it's late...

Your pages are fabulous. Enough to brighten anyone's day. I especially love the camera 'click' pattern and how you've used it.

You are quite the creative scrapbooker! I recently started digital scrapbooking and am totally hooked! The options are amazing! Plus, I can keep up with all my projects because it is so much faster! And way less messy!

Love the new layouts! I've been doing a lot more with black backgrounds too. I just love the way the bright colors pop. BTW, thanks for signing me up with Good Reads. I'll get one there some day and list some books. Ruth

Love the pictures on your layouts. I wish I could get my husband to be goofy with the camera like that... but he's too serious I guess. I usually just have to settle on making layouts about just myself, oh well!

Florida is NICE! I went there every winter with my family when I lived at home. My little sis lives in Miami now, but I haven't been able to visit because of my multiple kiddos...

I know you are having/had a blast at CHA, and hopefully you'll have some fun pictures to share when you get back! It's Tuesday now, so you should be done pretty soon!

Got your friend request on Good Reads. I had never heard of it before. It looks really fun though. I'm yet to add some books. I love to read, but I just don't seem to have the time lately! I do however have a passion for childrens literature. I wonder if you can add fun kids books to your list??? I'll have to go check it out in detail. My daughter brought one of my favorite childrens literature books home today and I about freaked out. She was confused that an adult could be that excited about a picture book! Some of us never grow up... right??

Thanks for the Good Reads link. I signed up and put you as a friend so I could comment. I LOVE My Sister's Keeper. Just a WOW book overall. And Time Traveler's Wife was also very good.

I'm going to put your other books in my library holds!
