Can I get these in a size 8?

Perfect for a snowy day!

These were part of my gift from Kristen at the CK Christmas party and I love them so so much! They kept slipping off Q's little feet so I tied a ribbon to hold them up & added that cute Sassafras button flower. :) Next year I may need to add 'learn how to knit' to my 2009 goals.

Here's a pic of the team at the Christmas party. Lisa was happy when she opened her Josh Groban CD. (I remembered her husband surprised her with tickets to see him live in Vegas.) She didn't have the Christmas CD yet so that was good!
It's always fun to see a finished project like recently when I saw the cover page & my pages in the new book Get Creative with Type. Working on Brian's book was awesome!
Searching for cool ways to use type was such a fun challenge.

Here's a sneak peek at one of my pages. It wasn't so much about using type in an interesting way but about visual hierarchy.
What you don't see when you look at the picture below is that I was 8 or so months prego, Avery was getting a piggyback ride because she wanted to do anything but take a nap, I was holding out the camera upside down so I could take the picture with my left hand. I guess you can chalk that up as another cool Mommy skill. ;)

Needless to say... this book is fabulous!

Sarah,
the measuring tape is a piece of fabric. i'll see if I have any left over.

Aimers,
thanks for the nice comment!
You don't want to see my office right now!! I'm not gonna lie it's a disaster with all my projects due by mid Jan. Maybe I'll post a pic anyway then I'll post later with organization tips of how I calmed the storm! :)

Love this layout. How do you get your self portrait shots to come out so good, and with the camera upside down to boot! I always manage to get just the top of my hair, or some other crazy angle. Can't wait to get my hands on that book! Thanks for your never-ending source of inspiration.

Hi again, I was trying to play with my camera to get that blurry background and followed the instruction, but either my camera is incapable or it's totally operater error. I have a Kodak Easy Share. It has a manual settting but I can't seem to get the settings low enough to blur out the background while keeping the foreground in focus. Any thoughts? Also, do you use the Sleepy Wrap you have on here? I have three boys (5, 2 and 5 months) and really need my hands free. It looks great but wondered if you had one and liked it. Happy Thursday! I just scraplifted this LO and I l.o.v.e it. I used hearts for the VERY FIRST TIME in 5years of scrapping (I don't "do"
hearts-anything as my husband knows all too well). And its all thanks to you.
