It's about time...

for a killer giveaway!

I'm a big fan of the camera straps *made with love* by the fabulous Shealynn & sold at the *Shey*[B] etsy shop. They make me happy because
a. they come in a bunch of different stylish patterns
b. they slide on and off so it's easy to interchange them
c. they are super cozy around your neck :)

Right now my Canon is hanging from the black and white damask pattern with a pink yo yo flower! Oh, I almost forgot to mention how much I love the yo yo flowers, she layers them and attaches them to your strap with a button. I couldn't help but get a few more of those that I will easily find a home for on one of my next projects. Her 'Summer Fun' strap was also calling my name since I am eagerly waiting for some sunshine.

Leave a comment with one of your New Years Resolutions (it's okay if you've already given up on them:) & you can choose your favorite camera strap from the Shey B etsy shop!!

My goal is to lose about 35-40% of my body weight and to take better care of myself- physically, mentally, and spiritually. I've already lost just about 1.02%, so I have a ways, to go, but am confident that I will do it this year!

What pretty camera straps!

I made a resolution to get the house organized before our 3rd baby arrives in May! I'm still going strong but it's a lot of work!

Those camera straps are soooo cute! I hope I win! OK- this sounds cheesy, but one of mine is to take up scrapbooking or mini-album making or something like that thanks to all the cute creative scrap blogs out there (like yours!) thanks so much!!!

oh la la ... great giveaway liz!!
um .... new years resolutions? ... using what we have before buying more ... from hand/body lotions, baking supplies (chocolate and almond paste and too many kinds of flours!), scrapbooking supplies, and books and DVDs ... I'm enjoying it so far. Makes me feels very satisfied - and thrifty!

LOVING these camera straps :)

I decided my New Year's Resolutions wouldn't involve the typical lose weight, stop doing something I love type resolutions. I decided to BE HAPPY. I grew up in a very pessimistic family and unfortunately I also tend to be that way out of habit. It's a hard habit to break when every member of my family sees the worst in EVERYTHING. Anyway, my NYR is to find something positive about every bad thing that happens, really relish the good things that happen, and try to enjoy the everyday instead of getting caught up in the mundane household tasks. Life it too short and my three boys are growing like weeds. So for instance, even if I don't win the camera strap, at least maybe I got someone to get off their computer to go hug their baby and say "I Love You!" That's where I'm heading now! :)

My goal this year is to say "Sorry, can't do it!" a little more often! The camera strap covers are a great idea...I love the black & white damask and also the black & white dot with the pink mink!

My new years resolution is to have patience. I am not very good at this at all. I resolve patience this year in alot of areas of my life, for instance: having more patience with the kids (5 year olds are hard!), having patience that God will take care of us, having patience that things that are happening right now in our life and in the world will work out themselves out, having patience that this years blessings will show themselves. I definately resolve to have Patience this year!

Katy said...

Well, I never make resolutions for some reason, but this time of year I always get an itching to go around my house with garbage bags to do a little simplifying...I either find things to throw away or give away - makes me so happy and organized!!

One of them was to organize my scrap room and I did it - yay! Now I can feel inspired to create. I'm just so proud of myself that I wanted to share that with everyone, hee hee! What I really wanted to put down was that I want to get out of the Auto mode on my camera and really capture things with my own eyes and how I see them and not the camera.:)

P.S. The black & white damask that you have is cool, but it looks like they're out. Summer Fun is pretty funky, too!

My Nikon is yearning for one of those GORGEOUS straps!!! How cute are they????? My NIkon strap is sooo rough on my neck! My resolution was to stop taking on everyones problems. I have this need to solve everyones problems and I find I end up feeling bogged down and low and have no strength left for my own family and five beautiful children. This year I need to learn to switch off a little. I will of course ALWAYS be there for my friends but I do NEED to learn when to switch off. I can't solve everything.

I'm really not into new year's resolutions. For once, who really follows thru with them til the end? There are so many life changing events in our times now that impact peoples lifes in all aspects. I have certain standards that I live by and year in and out I try my best to live by these standards. My girls always come first and no matter what I try to spent as much time as possible with them, especially as a full time working mother, always having guilt feelings not to be there for them, where other moms can. I always try to see the best in people and treat them as I would wanna be treated. And as serious as life can get, I always try to take it easy. Life's too short to walk around worrying off our heads. Focus what's in front of us. I love food to much to ever make a resoltion on dieting or the like. Life healthy and have fun, enjoying the little things in life; 'cause they're what really counts.

I've also have a new mantra of Love. Love the good, the bad, the easy, and the hard. The year is going good so far.
