I love surprises!

Apparently Dove chocolates are not the only ones that have a magical power! One of my darling blog readers, that is just as fabulous as they come, sent me this painting in the mail! I had been gushing over a blog post she did of her first painting and asked if she could paint one of Q&A. Well, life was crazy-busy & I was being picky as I tried to pick out the perfect picture for her to replicate. Then she surprised me with this beauty & I absolutely LOVE it!

It's sitting in a bookcase in our family room. I love it so much that I wasted quite a bit of time just staring at it. :) She illustrated Avery's eyes so perfectly & I will treasure it forever. Thanks Jana! You should check out her blog & get a painting of your own little sprouts!
Today is a special one for me as you can see here. Just going to reminisce.

Great painting. I remember reading that post about your dad, since then I, too, lost my dad June 23, 2008--way too young. I hope you have some warm and comforting memories of your daddy today. Take care and thanks for the fun things to look at and listen to each day!

I am a new reader to your blog, but I was touched by your post about your Dad. I lost mine 9 years ago this coming May. Thank you for the beautiful post to read that offered some insight as to how others deal with the loss of someone so important.

Too cute!! I was totally going to say hi when I saw you at Thai Ruby, but when I turned around, you were gone! My husband always gets SF7, but I'm a C6 (with tofu) kinda girl. Although, I do love their Musaman.

OMG I love it! This totally inspires me to create the same effect in photoshop. I just love the boldness and the bright pop of color. A great way to add color to a room and at the same time show off your lovely little ones. By the way. LOVe your blog!!!!
