she is presh

Quincey is following in her big sister's footsteps & is going to be another helper in my office, which is basically a nice way of saying that she already likes to get into everything. But are you kidding me, how sweet are her little piggies?! Oh, I can't get enough of her & apparently the feelings are mutual since she didn't want momma to put her down today. Ever. I didn't mind. :)

Thanks for the fun questions. I am excited to answer them over the next week. Here are a couple quick ones.

Okay, so how and on what did you print the photos for the fabric project? Looks super cute...will we have to wait to see it in CK? Thanks! Monica
-Hi Monica, I will be sharing that project asap with more details. I know you are sitting on the edge of your seat ;) it will be coming soon to this blog near you!

I LOVE the color of your scrapbooking room! Could you please share that color with us? :)
-Yes, I would love to. It is by Ralph Lauren called "Sun Washed Blue." It makes me happy!

This is one of my recent desk decor items that doesn't have much use but I thought it was cute so it is holding a mini calendar for now. I also bought a larger one that I am painting white. I got them at a local shop in Utah called Rod Works.

I've got a couple of questions, where did you get the cute little 3or4 tier stand with bowls and your magnetic board with the blue frame around it?Thanks!!Michelle F
-Hi Michelle, I got this 4 tier stand at my local Roberts (they have a cute boutique section so I am not sure if all Roberts carry them.) The bowls are from Anthropologie except the top one is from Target. The magnetic board I also got at Roberts then I painted it blue. :)

Well since you answered the camera question already....what lenses do you use? Do you use actions on your photos? I just love how bright and colorful they are!

-I shoot with Canon 50mm 1.8 lens. This is great for shooting portraits & close up shots since it's already zoomed in & I also use Tamron 17-55mm 2.8 as an everyday lens. (Will answer the many photoshop/actions questions next. :)

I just got a Canon Rebel Xs for Christmas and I'm wondering what kind of camera bag you have? Also, do you take your "big" cameras out with you or do you take a smaller more compact one out and about? =)

-I use a bag by Lower Pro. Yes, I lug my big camera around... which is probably not the smartest thing.

Will you be teaching any classes at CKC-Mesa in April? I took one of your classes last year and hoped to take another.

-Yes! I will be teaching again in Mesa this year! Which class were you in? I took pics of all my classes so I bet I could remember. :)

Your little Quincey is adorable! I love all the Q & A. I just wish I lived in Utah and could go to places like Rod works and Tai Pan. I never have enough room in my suitcase to bring back all the pretties. Thanks for sharing!

Oh and I forgot to ask...(maybe you get this all the time), but how do you fit everything in? I'm not a mom yet, but I always wonder what it will be like when I do have kids. Everyone always talks about how much work they are and you never have time for yourself...obviously that can't be true, because there are people like you!

I couldn't get them either...so disappointing. Advertisements for Photobucket instead of pictures. Am I doing something wrong?

Those little toes and wrinkly feet are precious!

Can I hang out here, even though I don't scrapbook? ;-)

I have been secretly obsessed with that little storage shelf dollhouse-ish thing on top your scrap desk.. Gotta know- where did you get it?!!

Thanks so much :)

Ok, I have more questions. Do you personally have a sleepy wrap? Do you like it? Does Q like to be held in it? And one more. When is CKC mesa?

Hmmm...I had a "helper" in my studio today too!
Posted a bit about that on my blog too!

I love RodWorks - When I was there in October, my girlfriend, who lives in Draper, picked me up at the airport and we spent the day going to some of her favorite shops before I had to go into my meetings with Stampin' Up!

Another favorite shop of mine there is "Dear Lizzie" - I got the most fabulous outfit there!

Okay, here's a question for Collin... honestly, have you ever scrapped a page? If not, why don't you have a go at it, and share your masterpiece on the blog!

Those little feet are so adorable!

I LOVE Rod Works. When I was in UT in January they just got a new shipment in and they had the cutest bird houses- super pricey, but really cute. I settled on a little bird considering the cost and the fact that I had to travel home with it to FL. I wish they had more stores like that out here in FL. Every time I got to UT I go to Rod Works with my mom at least 2 times!

LOVE the dress stand! I used to live five minutes away from Rod Works and every holiday that my hubby didn't know what to get for me, I'd tell him to go there and pick out anything. Thanks for all your fun blog posts!

Avery, tell your momma we just had all the carpets cleaned with 220 degree, pH 13 water from Zero Rez. All clean, sweet smelling, and soft. . . waiting for those little piggies to come crawl around in it, and Avery's toesies to come run through it. Hurry, hurry, I need a fix. The blog is great but we need to see/kiss/hug those grandgirlies in person.

I'll take you up on the babysitting request, Liz . . Saturday sometime during the day?

Great post and Q is growing up so much. I'd like to know how you get those cute little flowers to stay in her hair and how do you make them safe (ie. no pointy brad backs)?
Also for the comments earlier. I couldn't view your photos last night either but I noticed that there was a photo I'd already seen in an earlier post that I couldn't see. I can see them all now - don't know what happened last night! (BUT i do know my hubby was making his first ever scrapbook page for me for Valentines!!!!!!!!)

Love your blog for many reasons .. especially the photos! You are so talented. Thanks for answering the questions we all have been wanting to know. I'm just geeting into a small portrait photography business and would love to use some of the actions you use on your photos. Especially the profile picture above of you and Collin. Can't wait for that post.

I watch your blog everyday and just have two quick questions.

I see you are using a Fiskars trimmer. Do you like it? I haven't been able to find a paper trimmer that I just love yet. I've had the Fiskars 12x12, and currently am using the cutterpede and the purple cows. None of which I have been able to get to cut my paper in a straight line. Frustrating. Any suggestions?

Also, you heading out to Virginia (Northern Virginia to be more exact) at all? I'm dying to meet you and with a toddler and a new one on the way I don't get to travel much.

Speaking of wall colors, what colors are on Avery's walls? I saw them in a pic once on your blog. I'm thinking about redoing my daughter's room, just wondering.

thanks

Love those sweet toes!!! Thank you for sharing! I also love your style of color, decor...enjoy seeing the new little things that you add to your home, office, etc. So fun!

I love your blog and do lurk here at least once a day. Add my name to the list that has sold five cd's of artists you have in your playlist plus several other mp3 purchase downloads. Funny, at first I did not care for the music, but now I'm addicted to seeing when you add something new.

Would love to take one of your classes but don't think I'll be able to this year.

Wondering when you work with fabric, do you always sew the pictures on or do you use some type of glue/adhesive. Reason for asking is wondering about the long term durability of glue/adhesive with fabric?

I would love to see a wedding picture of you and your comical husband.

Thanks for sharing so much on your blog. Also enjoy your "Ask Lizzie" column in CK.

I am so excited to receive my special package from you! I'll be running out to my mailbox every day. :) I saw your mom is called GIGI. That's so funny because my mom is called Gaga and my grandma is called GiGi by my boys. It started out being GG for Great Grandma, but we converted it to GiGi to be cute. I have so many questions, I can't narrow it down. My most recent one is where the little blue bird on your page in the March issue of CK is from? Another is whether or not you plan to have any more kids? I'm on my third boy and think we're done. Another is what type of adhesive do you use for ribbon on paper. I've tried several and can't find one that doesn't make the paper wrinkle or not totally stick. Thanks in advance!! Jennifer Stanley

Are you able to disclose which class you will be teaching? I'm a new fan and would love to sign up. :)
