you can fly... you can fly...

My little nephew had the cutest Peter Pan party over the weekend. My sister is a mini Martha Stewart and goes all out. I think I even heard her say that she didn't sleep the night before... ha! That's Camille for ya-she amazes me & always goes above and beyond.
I helped her with the invitations & wrote a letter from Captain Hook inviting all the Lost Boys & Girls to Matthew's party. She painted a ship found at Hobby Lobby & the clothes pins to look like Peter Pan & Wendy. She was so inspired by a birthday party posted over at the Cookie magazine blog via Cup of Jo that she had to recreate it for Matthew-- There was a cake walk, kids dressed up, a tee pee & a treasure hunt.

Sprinkle some pixie dust on me, please. To the second star on the right and straight on til morning...

This is the BEST! That creativity runs thick in the blood over there...wow!
Now if your nephew was lucky enough to have his cute aunt fly on a wire above the back yard in a Tinkerbell costume...the event really would have been complete! Maybe next time...hee hee!

AWESOME Camille! Such an adorable party. I've had those pages on cookie's site saved in a folder too. Now I can add this photo collage to my "party ideas" folder as well.

Hi,

I just have a random question. How do you get the pictures you post to be so large? When I click large they do not turn out nearly this big. Is there a trick?

Thanks

Ummm wayy cool! I have always wanted to throw a totally suave party like this where all the cute little details fit perfectly together like a puzzle- and I kind of accomplished with that with my recent wedding (9 days ago - woot! woot!), but I am so afraid people will think "OMG! why does he spend her time doing this?!" People... well, evil, negative people said that about my wedding and now I don't know that I can go back...?

Either way I want to start party planning! Dude, Camille was the one that carved all of those crazy pumpkins last year too, right? Gees... I have looked back on that post of yours a few times and thought - that will be my number 1 aspiration next year... but then will people smash my 'kins? :) LOL.

I've been meaning to ask, how do you do up your pictures in collages like that on blogspot? I absolutely would love to learn how to do that but can't seem to find it available on blogspot, am I missing something?

Those photos are so pretty!! I am so discouraged with trying to improve my own photos. Do you use photoshop CS3 or Cs4 or Lightroom?? I've been taking a photo class and have been told my photos aren't in focus, poorly framed, and boring...that'd get anyone discouraged huh?
